To me this is very much similar to last year.
The 1s and maybe Houston are just a cut above everyone else.

About as good a draw as we could hope for. Now we just have to show up and play. If we beat Santa Clara and Iowa State wins it will be very awkward for me. Go Tennessee State.

One decent side note, between Duke, UL and UConn, 2 are guaranteed to not make the final 4.

I don’t understand how anyone here thinks we will beat Santa Clara. Their three point shooting will run us out of the gym.

Santa Clara no joke. They could beat us. Have seen them play and of one of the teams I hoped we wouldn't get first game is Santa Clara. Go figure.

Oetzelberger has had quite a bit of success at a non-traditional program in a very strong conference (something that our current coach NEVER had)
That first bracket with Duke is death row. We got a very favorable draw although I’m not expecting anything.
We beat the SEC champions, SEC runner up and Big East champions. So winning any game won't surprise me. Even beating Iowa St. but we also got blown out every third game. So them wetting the bed won't surprise me either.
Our last 10 we went 4-6. With losses to an 8 (Georgia), 10 (Texas A M) and Auburn (not a tourney team). We will easily beat Iowa St.

Most shocking thing about the bracket is both HBCs sent to the play in the NC double A has long avoided doing that for fear of political backlash
