Because you can clearly tell who the best team is based on one game in a season.

This obviously means we are better than UNC, Gonzaga is better than Duke, and St. Marys is better than Gonzaga.

Yes, I can tell that UK is better than UNC. We beat them in almost every position. Bad matchup for UNC.

Yes, I can tell UNC is better than Gonzaga. UNC could play St, Mary's 100 times and never lose once. UNC plays Gonzagas offensive style better than they do.

I don't believe Gonzaga is better than Duke even if they did beat them. Gonzaga shot 53% from 3 that game. They're a 36.5% shooting team. Duke has become a very good defensive team and those guys now have had 34 games together vs 6 when they played the first time.

I dunno how people can be mad as this bracket.

A UNC team we already handled on a neutral court this season.
A Houston team that's prob the weakest 3.

Avoided teams like Duke, UVA and Gonzaga

**** lol

Pundits are picking Houston right and left.

Not saying Gonzaga isn't a good team. They're very good. I just don't think they're more deserving of a 1 seed than any of the top 3 ACC schools or arguably UK or UT or MSU. Based on their overall body of work.

I agree with that. Because frankly this is based on resumes with every other team........Gonzaga didn't have the resume to be a 1 seed. They prob didn't even have the resume for a 2 seed.

So if Kentucky won out we would have either been #1 in the MW or West most likely since they said if Tennessee won today they would been #1 seed.

This would meant our #2 would not have been any of the ACC teams but if we were 4th #1 we would had Gonzaga as our #2 and if we were in MW we would have had Michigan as our #2 it looks like.

I would rather have played against Purdue as our 3 I thought they were a 4 seed.

Or against a Texas Tech team that seems to have played above their head this year and lost to West Virginia.

Based on ranking systems, both Texas Tech and Purdue are higher than Houston.

I mean we aren't talking by much here tho and all three are good teams.

Houston doesn't jump out and scream to me omg we can't beat them.

I'm confident in my cats.

That wouldn't be the first time they predicted us to get upset lol.

I don't see that happening and looking at the other 3 seeds I'm not sure who anyone would want.

They are all good teams. I'm ok with Houston

Pundits are often wrong. We need us against the world as much as possible.

Damn bummer UNCG was the very 1st team left out. Saint Mary's, Oregon and Saint Louis were the 3 bid thieves.

I really wanted Belmont and UNCG to make the big dance.

Hate to say it, but I think you win this side of the bracket and face Duke for the title.

I have to hate you both of course, but when it happens:

BEAT THE EFF OUT OF DUKE!

What kind of team does KU have this year? I honestly don't think I've been able to catch a single one of their games.

If we keep winning and meet Iowa State and UNCheats/KU in Kansas City, might as well call it 2 road games. It would be like Puke playing in Louisville. Of course the committee didn't let that happen and opted for Puke in DC.

Woffrd 19th in kenpom.

https://kenpom.com/index.php

Nothing about Wofford being our 7 is a great thing.

They really remind me of Davidson's elite 8 team..........man oh man remember how tough our Wichita State game was in 2017 as our 2 to their 10 ?

I think Wofford going to be the same deal a really tough game.

Missing out on the South when it was in Louisville is pretty painful. You only get this chance every so often. Would have rather been a #3 seed in the South than a #2 in the MW.
