Anyone anticipate any type of drop off in terms of BBN turnout? I live in the NYC area so I'm not as in tune with these things as a lot of you are.

I believe that Friday's game will be well attended. Then if Kentucky plays well and wins the weekend will be crazy crowded. The rest of the games will be lucky to draw 5,000

Nope. Exciting team hitting stride. Good matchups. Good weather. Good times good times

Only matchups anyone cares about is UK and who UK plays! Rest of the games will have sparse crowds

There will be more UK fans downtown than most other tourneys have in actual game attendance. 20k in the streets and 15k at the games when we're playing.

Have we ever not had great attendance at the sec tournament?

Nope, and I always fear we've hit a saturation point yet BBN always comes through. Certainly hope I can make the trip in the next couple of years, still haven't been to an SECT.

I can tell you the ticket prices are the lowest I have ever seen them in Nashville. Not sure what that means other than there is no demand outside of UK fans.

I think BBN will show up again this year. This team needs the fans to get behind them, more so this year than any other year. I think this team is a very good neutral site team

One of life's great mysteries (to me, at least) is why UK fans like the SEC tourney. To me, it's a terrible event with no meaning or impact on the NCAA seedings (as we see every year when we win it and it gives us zero benefit). My best guess is that people just like a party and that people like going to an event knowing that we have an excellent shot at playing all three days. If it were me, and assuming that your average UK fan is not wealthy enough to go to all tourney games, I'd save my money and go to Sweet 16 / Elite 8 or Final four games.
