With all due respect, are you mental?

I’m not trying to talk abortion on a basketball board. I just find it insane to believe the only good political opponent is a dead one.

That’s on the same ideological plane as those Muslims you probably hate. Don’t be like them.
Look, it wasnt meant in a literal sense. Of course I dont wish anyone death. Stop being so damn sensitive.

Didn't congress just allocate him far more money for this outbreak than what he had even requested? Sounds like they are going beyond to work with him when they can.

If you honestly think no president has had it worse, you are either very young or have been living with blinders on. Every president in the last 40 years has had it worse than Trump. Republicans and Democrats.

Congressional leaders were trying for weeks to get the president to actually acknowledge it was happening and then ramp up the precautionary steps to try to avoid the mess we are in now. He refused. I don't even have that much of an issue with Trump, but the ball was dropped big time on this.
I don't remember Trump vetoing any bill Congress sent to him on the Corona Virus!

He was trying to prevent any further panic. The chicken littles love to have doomsday material to talk about in the banks and grocery stores. You seem upset that he didn't pull out a megaphone and yell that the world is ending.
So, to avoid panic that really didn't exist until the last couple of weeks once it hit the US, he decided to do nothing, ask for less money than was recommended, fabricate lies and a misinformation campaign, put one of the least qualified people in his administration in charge of handling it while he has a renowned doctor running HUD, tell people to go get tested when tests weren't even available, and completely botch several quarantine protocols and recommendations with bringing people back into the US from known infected sites? That makes no logical sense.

And your defense of him being ill prepared to handle this is that he is instead incompetent? That doesn't really bode well or give people much faith.

Yes, yes, everyone else is "ignorant" when you get backed into a corner. Take a nap, clown.
You're too dumb to back me into a corner. Now run along sheep boy and tell everyone how Covid 19 is a hoax created by Democrats, the media, and the NCAA to hurt your god in the upcoming election.

Sankey's about to join the crew on air at the SEC Tournament to discuss the situation. I wonder if any announcements will be made?

Sankey is saying some important things on air right now concerning the situation. I'd like to hear a replay when it's available.

Be prepared to forfeit the processing and handling fees if purchased with SEC Tournament tickets. Not to mention hotel policies that may have cancellation deadlines.

damn, the cloud people disguised as lizard people disguised as Ted Cruz done got to the southern liberals. Now we only have to look forward to testing kits that are actually anal probes because thats how they ripen you for Lord kathlupakmanob's thursday night soup dinner.

If only Trump was 40 again, he'd have the herculean muscle to win the war on gay frogs. this battle was lost long ago.(sigh)

thats just a special conspiracy fact for all the newb conspiracy theorists on this board.

Most of those hotel rooms are not refundable now, at this point, so the fans are still going, they just won't be in the arena. May actually be better for local business in the end. Fans will be in the restaurants and bars instead
Packed in even tighter than if they were in the arena
Still the same problem

This shot is no worse than the flu, anything to tank the economy, trying to hurt Trump. This is not the country I grew up loving and willing to die for. The media has sunk to an all time low.
Trump just banned all incoming travel/trade from Europe starting Friday. Total travel ban just because of a run of the mill flu? Sounds like a snowflake to me. Or maybe it's science....

I am not a fan of his and I actually agree with you. to an extent. The guys who were assassinated had it worse. (To be fair, I thought he was a shady POS con man when he was a liberal NYC Democrat in the 80s, 90s and 00s.)

My guess is it will only get worse for the next president. And worse than that for the president after that. The social media age has ruined civility and enabled the rapid spread of false information (BOTH ways). The worms won’t go back in the can.

Social media will be the downfall of western society as we knew it. It’s already changed 1000% since I was in high school(only 18 years ago.)

No more players flexing and pointing to the crowd when they make big plays. No more fans trying to throw off the FT shooters. This is going to get strange fast tomorrow.

NBA games suspended due to someone testing positive for Covid 19... probably need to get tests for every player before they continue... if they do continue.

You are so right, but the economy will not tank. It will recover way before the election. IMO the American people are not fools, and Trump will be re-elected. Trump has come back from the dead more times than a cat with 9 lives.

Anyone who doesn't believe Dems and the media are trying to hurt Trump in all of this are either blind or stupid. CNN was on at the gym I was at on Wed. night and it was one talking head after another literally echoing each other with insane claims about how Trump doesn't care for American citizens. Using a health crisis to score political points is sickening. But, as one of their own, Rahm Emanuel always says "Never let a good crisis go to waste."
They're a sickening, miserable lot.

The mass hysteria over this is ridiculous. I’ll check back in six months, and see how many survived...if any.

If they’re wrong, I’ll laugh my *** off at them the same way I did after SARS, the swine flu, avian flu, and all the other pandemics that were going to decimate the world population.

If they’re right about how deadly this is, I’ll stand corrected posthumously. If I somehow survive, I’ll be among those taking their food, toilet paper, and milk with one of those weapons they’re always trying to ban.
