Frosts offense first year at UCF
350 yd/gm
2 to/gm
second year
530 yd/gm +50%
1 to/gm -50%

Right now the Huskers are at 470 yd/gm and 2 to's
I could see them cutting to's in half but 700 yd/game?

I think the 1995 Nebraska offense (considered one of the best all-time) averaged 556 yards per game. I don't think we're going to see this team jump to 700 yards/game next year. In year three, though.....

Stan and Ziggy's production will need to be replaced. Mo will likely take a chunk of the rushing, but Stan will be hard to replace. Both guys have been pretty consistent this year.

I’d like to see similar defense stats. That is where the team’s fate resides.

I feel like NU will consistently have prolific offensive stats under Frost. Can we get the players we need to effectively run the defense in a similar manner? Most likely yes, but how long will it take?

I'm actually enjoying the progress I've been seeing week to week.
Now I know our next opponent is an expected blowout win, but I'll be looking to see if we can improve upon self-inflicted mistakes, defense & special teams.

Getting a few turnovers would be nice too.

the progress on offense will be if we convert 3rd (and 4th) downs consistently enough to where we're scoring TDs against good defenses.

Considering the better production against the higher level of competition, the offensive output supports the coaches' contention that our players bought in more quickly than the UCF players did. Impressive.

As for defense, it's going to take more time. Frost's genius on offense has covered up some of the talent shortcomings as well as the physical deficiencies we had due to the crap weight and nutrition program we had when he came. Not so easy to cover those up on the defensive side of the ball.

Expected blowout? McNeese State says hello. Going to be closer than people think

Otherwise I agree 100percent
