CLASS D2

Second Round - Wednesday, October 31

East

Hartington-Newcastle (6-3) at Humphrey St. Francis (9-0)
Falls City Sacred Heart (8-1) at Randolph (7-2)
Osmond (7-2) at Bloomfield (9-0)
Allen (6-3) at Johnson-Brock (9-0)

West
Garden County (7-2) at Mullen (9-0)
Sandhills/Thedford (8-1) at Overton (8-1)
Clearwater/Orchard (8-1) at Lawrence-Nelson (6-3)
Riverside (7-2) at Kenesaw (9-0)

I don’t see a lot of potential upsets, but can Randolph get on Falls City Sacred Heart early? Can Riverside hang with Kenesaw?
Does Howells-Dodge get revenge on GACC for an early season loss?

I agree with those predictions. D2 west will be interesting though. I could see a reversal in all those with Garden County, Overton, Lawrence, and Kenesaw winning.

I could to except for GC. I think Mullen has the horses to make it to the semifinals at least.

coach sloupydog CLEARWATER ORCHARD is the real deal, they are a pretty talented squad.
I’d love to see OC make it to the championship but I’ve watched them a few times and don’t think they’re “the real deal”. Are they good? Yes. But I honestly just don’t see them making it.

I like all of these picks. Early I picked Howells-Dodge over GACC, but from the sounds of it HD is very banged up. One matchup to keep an eye on is LHNE vs. Osceola/High Plains. I think OHP is a very underrated team.

That car salesman always hits me up for a deal “on any new or used cars” whenever I talk to him. Can’t fault the guy for trying. Give him some free publicity here on Huskerland.
