I think Bowser is trying to pick holes instead of hitting holes like he used to. He continually gets to the line and then sidesteps, losing all his momentum.
I bet he is having shoulder problems.

Man... our lack of a pass rush from our front four is going to kill us next week.

I hope after this performance that bowser moves to 3rd string running back given his condition of not being fully healthy

Well I’d like to see us score over 30 given we’ve rushed for over 400 but it’s not so much that kind of game. Also we haven’t gotten any big turnovers which usually helps our scoring.

I don't miss the Cardiac Cats ending at all.
Agree but we better not let ILL score again. This has been a little boring at the end but I don’t want us to let em creep back.

I still like the boring nature of being up significantly so much better than the gut wrenching. Go Cats!

I would have kicked a FG there, go up 21. Not sure what the logic of going for it was.

Shoulda thrown on 4th and 4. They would not have been ready for it.

You do know that our Head Coach is Pat Fitzgerald? He doesn’t throw the ball late in the 4th quarter against a team he is beating by three scores.

I believe that, with just two more consecutive victories, we are legally entitled to call the hat ‘The Land of Lincoln Trophy, Presented by Northwestern.’

We lug it out to the field, annually, to show it off to the viewing public.

You think we might have some of the guys who sat out today back next week?

For real.

There is zero to complain about today. In these conditions, NU was able to impose their will on a BIG opponent and stay vanilla. Great work for OL today and will come out (mostly) healthy in a comfortable win.

Thrilled with this outcome and excited to see what the staff has up their sleeve for Ohio State.

Nah... it’s the one weakness of this D. It’s been that way all season. It was just really apparent on that TD drive.
