What we will find out now is if these guys will quit. They can show they are not quitters by actually starting to play a bit in these final couple of drives and stands. I want to see some effort here that is not humiliatingly perplexing...make some blocks and tackles, throw and catch the ball! Go Cats!!

Glass half full observation. Injury free game for the Cats assuming Hunter not injured and being held out at least partially to make sure he remains 100%.

When you don’t have any outside speed to stretch the defense and the oline is slow, and your qb is starting his 3rd game it’s going to be a long learning season! We won with smoke and mirrors last year and a west division that was weak, not so this year! Pissed!

This is the kind of bumbling dark ages crap I thought was long in the rearview mirror.

At least Drake is single-handedly ruining MSU’s rushing defense statistics.

But, like, did we learn ANYTHING about Smith by having him play the fourth quarter?

He certainly has been running hard in garbage time.

Wow.... we finally put our quickest guy back on the punt return and he gets almost 20 yards. What a concept!!!

In WGN postgame Coach commented he was disappointed we didn’t score on that last drive and then added, “Really disappointed,”

As to the defense failing to hold up to the end the response was that they just ran out of gas.

Also confirmed that the change in quarterback was to allow a relief pitcher to come in to give a spark to the game.
