Gooooooo Cats!! Gonna be a different story second half!! We get the ball to open the half. Let's get it rolling on Offense and get on with our future. Hunter get's confident, our receivers get open, and catch the ball!

I suspect the reason that a lot of people feel frustrated is because NU has played MSU relatively even, but the score doesn’t reflect it. Usually that’s the other way around for this program.

Let’s see how they respond.

We played very well except
1. 1st msu possesion.
2. Our failed power offense goalie fiasco.
3. Last series of half for msu.
Cannot continue to not execute on goalline.

Cats actually seemed to have the offense clicking on their final drive. Both defenses have impressed.

Actually surprised that NU did better on the ground than MSU in the first half.

Incredibly disappointed in this season so far. Absolutely zero rhythm on offense. Our D is good but unfortunately with our O, the D has to be GREAT for us to even have a chance to win.

Noticeable drop off in speed from the linebackers in both pass coverage and in getting to the gap to shut down the run.

This.

With the 2015 Northwestern defense, NU is 2-0 and probably winning this game. Offense in Thorson’s first year was way worse than this, yet NU won 10 games.

Clear holding on MSU they aren't calling. OUR DEs are winning, but getting grabbed.

We really don't have a better LB on this team than Bergin? I just don't get it.

Watching Bergin play week over week and continue to get tossed around makes me question so much about this staff. Why can’t you field scholarship LB’s that aren’t overmatched this year?

What happened to improved recruiting. No - I don’t expect perfect seasons - not even close, but there are glaring misses out there that have to be explained beyond snarky coaching remarks. #Enough

PKK must be building a pile of excuses to use this season. It’s shaping to be a long one with more questions than answers.
