Second-half thread for NU vs. Merrimack

Not a very encouraging half, guys. NU's defense -- their greatest strength under Collins -- looks sloppy. Merrimack's small, quick guards are getting inside, and then Devin Jensen has been a killer. He has 17 points on FIVE 3s. They need to sic Gaines on him in the second half.

Offensively, Merrimack's zone is giving them problems. Lots of passing around the perimeter and they're not getting the ball inside very often. They got it into the paint to Beran a couple times, but that's about it.

Collins is going to be experimenting with lineups, but I think they have to come out and take control in the first five minutes of the half. Or it's going to be a dogfight until the end.
