Yes. That, combined with us being the weakest ever team to be in the game, led to the disastrous result.
A freak QB who seemed to fall forward 3 yards about every time we tackled him.
Thankfully no. I remember UGA fans taunting gamecock fans mercilessly when that banner was up and they were playing in WB.
I'm not sure the "Welcome Home" banner is a big improvement.
It's a Greek tragedy. Any one of those teams could have won it.
2012 was tough with UGA, LSU and UF in consecutive games. Lost a heartbreaker to LSU.
2011 sucked as we lost by 3 at home to a thoroughly average Auburn team.
2013 was the worst. Lost to a very, very bad UT team whose only other conference win was over 0-8. Yes, yes, the Chicken Curse is very, very real.
All three of those years, the team that won the East lost to South Carolina.
