Exactly what we just said in our house. Arkansas was robbed in that game by the refs. SEC was nowhere close to as weak as everyone in the nation thought. Representing themselves very well, proud of our conference right now. Liking our chances better and better as we weathered this conference that so many thought was nothing.

At least though the SEC is 7-2 with 3 teams in the Sweet 16. Bet not many people picked that, including me. I had Duke beating SC, but watching them beat Duke was worth it. I had the Dookies losing the next round anyway to Baylor.

Every year the ACC Biased liars at ESPN and CBS spew their SEC Hate and ACC Love even though it's always half-truths or BS.The SEC is never as weak as gets parrotted by idiots that believe everything they hear on TV.
Kentucky faces a war every game in the SEC ,the NCAA favoritism of the ACC is wrong and sickening too,it's all because Alumni run the good Ol' Boy system .Hopefully that will change in the future and the UNC's and Duke's won't get away with murder and get special treatment in bracket fixing, officiating, and media promotion.Evidently Disney got the memo.

The refs screwed Arkansas in several ways. Don't like Arkansas, but don't want them cheated either. Chance are good they would have beat UNCheaters is calls were honest in the last minutes

I think the refs have done a good job overall this tourney but there was one no call in particular that really changed that game imo.

Very little time left with the Hawgs holding a slim lead and Berry drove the paint completely out of control running into a defender and throwing up a wild shot that he missed but was tipped in by the UNC big guy. They could've called a blocking foul, but it looked like a for sure charge to me. There should have been some kind of whistle though as there was lots of contact (it could've also been a walk). Arkansas still had a chance to win the game after that but NC closed it out.

It was the most egregious officiating mistake of the tourney so far. I do think the better team won but that play really sucked for Arkansas.

Prior to that UNC blocked a three point shot that went out of bounds and they gave the ball to UNC,there were also 3 questionable fouls /non calls that helped UNC and changed the game.

That block was super close but he did get a piece of it. A spinning ball doesn't turn into a knuckle ball for no reason. And IIRC they even reviewed it but didn't over turn the call.

Throw my .02 in- folks are right- as badly as I hate arky- they were SCREWED at least twice on a
tipped/blocked shot on one end and then berry completely runs over a defender next play at the other end..
In my mind no way officials were letting uncch lose that game- kinda surprised same thing didn't happen against dook and USC.

They tried. SC had two ridiculous charges go against them late. I just don't think even crooked officiating could have saved Duke.

Looked like a block to me..Arkansas guy reached in and wasnt set in front of Berry..From that view it wasnt a hard call.

Definitely a charge and a walk. Should have been arky ball down one. The non reversal after review the play earlier was criminal. It was crystal clear that it was a tipped ball and should stay with ark with .02 on the shot clock.

As bad as the calls were Ark IMO lost the game themselves going to stall ball with 2:00 to go up by 5. They went three straight possessions without getting a remotely decent shot off. They keep attacking there they probably win the game.

Not to mention on Arkansas' 3, the guy got hit on the arm and tackled but no foul was called either.

block or charge call something. a no call changes the tempo of the game far more drastically than calling a block

Mike Anderson messed up taking the air out of the ball with 3 minutes to go. It's always a tough decision as a coach. Keep playing and running your offense or take time off the clock.
