It's the bottom 20 that will see the most turnover. and Bama's bottom 20 was higher rated than out bottom 20....

Starters have no problem at all leaving when they know there is a high percentage chance they will not have to sit. See Jarrian Jones, Fabian Lovett, Van Jefferson, numerous others.

Those chances are now 100%….for everybody. This isn’t hard to figure out.

The biggest problem I’ve heard most people worried about (not with football because they really already have way too many scholarships), but with other sports is with transfers taking high school kids spots. You’re absolutely going to see high school juniors and seniors spots that they’ve been fighting for for years taken by a more experienced transfer. Just like with the corona extra year rules they’re allowing the screwing over of high school kids in favor of college kids.

The other thing is you have to find a way to balance the scholarship limit. What happens if a school has 10 kids transfer in the spring after they signed 25?

We had a coaching change in January. They left 6 months later. Keep telling yourself they left because of the coaching change. Guys leave when they get theirs and decide to better their situation (whatever their definition of that is) without any penalty whatsoever. The coaching change was a means to an end….not the underlying reason why either of them left.
