I normally would say teams just hit crazy threes vs UK and vs. pretty much nobody else but UK lets other teams' best shooters get into a groove. Hell, UK lets entire teams get into grooves. Basically, UK just don't guard worth a F and the other teams, mainly their best shooters, catch fire. You just saw it at the end of the half..a complete break down and a wide open shot for LSU's best shooter.

Have a bad feeling about the 2nd half. Feels like UK should be up 10+ but only winning by 3.
Why would everyone collapse in the lane and leave their best 3 point shooter all alone, why. How many time do you see teams do this. Is this what the staff teaches, if not why aren’t the players listening. Smart players/teams don’t do this, they stay on a deadly shooter.

It's because he plays inconsistent & lazy, when he comes to play he can play.

We should be up 10, every time we get a lead someone just chucks up BS that leads to an easy bucket the other way and we can never extend it

How is it surprising? We have looked exactly like this all year.
Offense was a huge problem earlier in the year. It's come a long way from where it was.
If this team's post-season is brief, defense will be the main reason.

the bigs are setting hard screens for guards they need to rewarded every now and then. I am sure the locker room has many of these discussions.

Going forward Moreno has to quit the senseless fouling. He has to stay on the floor, he’s done this all year. You can’t help the team sitting on the bench.
The frustration comes from lack of awareness and effort.
Pope will always do enough to keep his job. I wouldn’t get hopeful about it. We’re still probably a tournament team, even if we lose. And that’s good enough for the UK brass.
