SEC title game tickets a bit expensive

Doesn't the sec championship game share revenue with both teams players? Kinda like how the NFL pays the players for making the playoffs

It has always been my view that parity actually hurts college football. It's only fun when the same dominant teams are involved year after year. Look at who is in the CCG's and you'll see the ticket prices correspond with that.

I sure don't see any pairity unless you a southern school, I'm not complaining more of a observation, most of the new rules have hurt the northern schools or not really helped them. Now as for the southern schools it's a whole new ballgame. The NCAA turns the other way because there money makes for them. Look at college baseball , who controls it? The southern schools. Look at all the problems in basketball. Mostly from the southern schools. And again the NCAA does nothing. IMO if the college playoffs commits could have 4 sec schools or 3 sec schools and 1 acc that would be perfect. I really get tired of hearing the word parity

I dunno, but I don't see a lot of interest in the conference championship games either, unless it is a good matchup.

This year, you have or had Northwestern, Utah, Washington, & Pitt from the power 5.. all names muster up a big "Meh".. the only thing worth watching is Texas/Oklahoma, and Alabama/Georgia, your more traditional powers.

So to me, that is only 2 games worth a crap. All the other traditional powers are down (mostly due to parity), and so it makes for a crappy football experience in my opinion.

It was better when there were fewer contenders. You were always going to get USC, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Nebraska etc.. and now it's replaced by a 'meh' university or a 'blah state'.

This creates less of the matchups people really want to see, and more matchups that no one cares about.

Big 12 still seems the better conference for playoff birth due to the way it is setup too.
