To add insult to injury I do not believe the SEC will fair very well this year in the NCAA Tourney. I know we have a couple of highly ranked teams like Alabama and Tennessee but I don't see either of those teams making it past the Sweet 16. Alabama and Tennessee both have their moments where they look like world beaters but then turn around and get beat by someone who should have never beat them.

Thing about Alabama is if they’re hot the entire tournament is over. I’d rather have their season, their style of play, and the odds they have in the tournament vs. ours.
Tennessee isn’t going anywhere. They’re still playing by the dated defense only system and it can’t work because too many teams are trying to out score you.

Agree, UT won't go anywhere. Ala, Aub and Missouri are better. We somehow beat a decent team last night that didn't play badly in the process. We aren't going anywhere either and will be lucky to win 1 game in the SECT, but if we do we could get to the finals. The SEC is just that goofy this year and we can't seem to take advantage.
I think the sec gets embarrassed in the tourney. Bama is really the only team with a shot at making a run and they’re running rough over the conference. Tennessee’s ceiling is sweet 16. It wouldn’t shock me to see someone like Arkansas make some noise, but auburn and mizzou both get bounced the first weekend in my opinion.
