LOL, some of you guys crack me up after a loss. I guess it makes you feel better when you put the team, players and conference down.
Fact is, the SEC is really good this year and any SEC team that gets in is more than capable of going on a serious run.
Anyone see Florida or South Carolina doing what they did last year?
Auburn is capable of embarrassing really good teams. They might be the team I would fear most. They play harder than everyone else and they make plays all over the court.
Tennessee is ripping teams right now, even away from home.
Texas a&m is loaded and if they get in, they have the goods to beat anyone.
UK is one of those teams too. The defense has taken huge strides and hopefully our offense gets overhauled by tournament time.
Florida will get Egbunu back, not sure how effective he will be, but he gives them something they could definitely use.
But look around the country, there are only three teams that have shown strong consistency (Nova, Purdon't and Virginia), everyone else has major flaws. Duke lost to Boston College and freaking ST.Johns, who had lost their previous 11 games.
KU has now lost 3 games at homehome. Oklahoma State is about equal to Missouri.
Then you have a bunch of teams like Cincinnati and Xavier, who haven't played anyone stronger than freaking Temple University.
So I'll say it again, any SEC team that gets in can certainly go on a huge run.
