Yes best of luck to you. Maybe Vandy can get to their 2nd elite 8 in their entire history if they can put a few decent games together. I will be pulling for them. I still think that would keep them as the least successful SEC basketball program in the conference unfortunately.

Well I guess that settles it in!! Who cares about national titles, Final Fours, Conference championships, etc. Maybe Vandy should hang a banner for that? LOL.
I never said all that. What I did say should be very embarrassing for you after your proclamation. UF did not have an elite 8 until '94 and only had one sweet sixteen prior to that.
Ok and??? That was 31 years ago. Now they have 3 national titles, 1 runner up, 6 Final Fours and 10 Elite 8s.
It was just a matter of time. It’s the flagship university in the state of Florida, with tons of money and alumni and in a state that loves college sports and sports in general. It’s the only school in the country to have multiple national titles in football and basketball and the only school in the country that has a football, basketball and baseball national championship. It just needed a very good coach to unlock the potential. Things are different now too. Billy Donovan never left UF for another college job. He left for the NBA. Golden isn’t going to leave for another college job either and will eventually go to the NBA as well.
Now on top of that the SEC is now “all in” in basketball as well and pretty much all sports for that matter.
Keep your head down. Go back to defending Pope while other programs pass us by. You’re just going to get owned by a Florida fan.
I believe the part about Golden not leaving for another college job ….. however; he may be interviewing with the FBI about his affection for young girls and who knows what else. The man (maybe / maybe not) is a creep and I can’t believe he’s innocent of the things he was suspected of.
