They currently are doing an sec media day preview and by no surprise, no love for our team whatsoever. I don’t think they’ve mentioned our name. One team they’re already drooling over? Texas A&M. Get ready for it.

Get ready for another year of not getting any credit or love. Hell, they are higher on LSU, Florida, and A&M than us. What do we have to do to get respect? A&M is the most overhyped program in college football history. Since they’ve joined the SEC, every year it’s the same thing. What do they end up doing? Winning 8 games.

And this is surprising? It’s always been this way and always will. If anyone thinks fisher will win a natty at A&M then they need to have their head examined. He will no more win one there than mcturd will at Florida.

Yeah,

we just happen to be in the SEC division, with the two highest paid coaches in college football.

Expectations are high.

So this is what we will get until the leather starts popping.

I have been a long time lurker, but I feel the need to address this.
1). It is preseason. It doesn’t matter.
2) The real reason that you are hearing about those schools is one simple reason. Money. The schools you are hearing about are the ones who have more money so ESPN is more focused on them. It is July. Nothing is going on. Everything right now is to just bs get ratings. If we become a big money maker for ESPN via subscriptions or whatever, you will see more coverage. Don’t take it personal.

Well, I guess the SEC Network saw my post. Since my original post, Spears, Burns and pollack have all given us some serious love today. Basically saying we are legit and we could most certainly win the West this year.

Ive been watching all day and they absolutely love us. It doesn’t scare me at all. If we don’t live up to the hype then so be it but It’s nice to finally see some good pub and hype. It’s good for our brand and can only help in recruiting.
