SEC championship scenario

Sorry if it's already been discussed, but this is what needs to happen for us to be SEC champions:

1. 3-0 vs. Alabama
2. Florida takes at least two from Arkansas
3. South Carolina takes at least one from Tennessee
4. Kentucky takes at least one from Vanderbilt

I’m honestly surprised that it’s not that far fetched of a scenario. I’m not sure whether us going 3-0 or Florida winning 2 is the lower odds, but neither is completely out of the realm of possibility

That Florida takes two and we make two errors in the 9th inning of game three to lose by 1.

None of the 4 individually is far fetched at all. I'd say maybe 40% chance, 30% chance, 70% chance and 80% chance. But the chances of all 4 happening would only be 7%.

Top 8 is more important. Cheer against Florida.

I am not holding my breath for all that to happen. First, sweeping Alabama at Alabama is much more difficult that sweeping Missouri at home and that didn't happen.

Even if it did.. Vandy will probably sweep KY... Ark probably bests Florida. South Carolina could even win the series and I fully expect them to win at least one but the rest is not as likely.

What State needs to do is help secure a national seed by winning the series vs Bama. That will be my hope going into the weekend.

I want to be a national seed and I want Arkansas to be cocky/arrogant/expectant (which will make them clam up in big situations) heading into the postseason. Thus, I hope Florida gets swept.

SEC championship wasn't meant to be this year. Move on.
