SEC Bucket List - Need Tickets

[mizzoufan]

My My wife and I are Mizzou alumni and are working on a bucket list of attending a football game at every SEC university. Thus far we have eight completed (Mizzou joined the SEC in 2012). We were planning on and looking forward to coming down to the Mississippi State game but with the COVID-19 pandemic I have been told by the ticket office at Mizzou that they will not have tickets to sell for this game due to limited capacity this year at each venue (only tickets for players families, etc.). They suggested looking into secondary ticket sellers like StubHub but I thought I would contact your group with a more creative idea.

One of my hobbies is to paint jockey statues with college affiliations (see attached). I have done several of these and am proposing to do one in with the MS State logo and colors for a MS State fan in exchange for a couple of tickets to the December 5th game in Starkville. This statue stands 44” tall and weighs 150 lbs. (concrete with rebar skeleton). Definitely a ONE OF A KIND item!!! I can be reached at [email protected]

Be gentle. This lad emailed us and he originally posted in the ticket forum. Told him I would help him out if anyone was interested.

Do you always develop British affectations on your birthday?*

[GloryDawg]

Can you get that in any race or just Anglo Saxons.********

First glance, I was impressed at the attention to detail on the bammer.

The hosta stems behind it made it look like he was holding some sort of Spike 80DF injector

[Drebin]

Hit me up in a couple of months. I may or may not have a couple of tickets to sell depending on how the season has gone.

Can I get one with a camo hat, costas with croakies, and a braided belt?

I've already emailed him. Told him to get back with me. Whether I go doesn't depend on W & L's.

...and the base needs to be a Yeti cooler.

I like that the Bama one is Saban's actual size

[tatedog]

delete. Good luck in your quest my friend.

I second the braided belt figurine. Please make belt long enough to where I can run it past the knot, loop it a couple times, then send the slack back down the leg....looking like a pipeliners ground wire.

Wife and I have same bucket list. We were going to start with Kentucky this year as empty nesters. Corona tho..

Good luck.

This guy should have posted in the hobby thread.

Maybe this gets updated Dec 5.

Assuming current restrictions stay in place for fan attendance. If this guy can barter a lawn jockey for tickets, what will that say for the demand for MSU tickets?

It doesn't depend on wins and losses for me, either.

When he goes to an Ole Miss game he won't have to paint the statue. Just drape a sheet over it and call it good.
