…… this is the off season where we fix what is wrong with the league. Look at our new coaches! Look at our recruiting! Look at how good we used to be! Look at our trophies gathering dust!!!
Prop them up with inflated off season rankings, let them boast about their tough schedule filled with those teams with inflated rankings, beat Mercer in November then get boat raced when they play other teams in the bowls/playoffs.

But this year they really mean it!! This is the year they come back!!!

There are a lot of good players out there. The top 5 QBs are not all going to the same school.

it’s big money vs big money. Not big ten vs sec

But the BIG TEN is winning, and the SEC is losing, so there's that.

The BIG TEN was 11-5 this bowl season, and one of the losses was to another BIG TEN team in the CFP semifinals (Indiana over Oregon). And now the BIG TEN has won three straight national championships: Michigan, Ohio State, Indiana (16-0).

Meanwhile, the SEC was 4-10, right there with the Mountain West with a .286 "winning" percentage this bowl season. And the ACC was 9-5. It literally doesn't get any worse than the S-E-C. LOL

BTW: Nick Saban picked Miami to win. OOOOPSIE! Your ESPN-anti-BIG bias is showing . . .

BTW2: Maybe I missed it, but I didn't hear ESPN mention even once during the game that this would be the BIG's third straight national title. An inadvertent oversight, I'm sure.

Well, "it just means more" to be 4-10 in Bowl Games. 😂

Next year might not be any better. Texas should be the clear favorite in the SEC. Georgia had a young team but they also lost a lot. They still have questions on offense. Alabama lost a ton. Texas A&M and Ole Miss lost a lot as well.

Oregon, Ohio St, and Indiana all had solid portal additions to go with some really good returning starters. Ohio St should have the best offense in college football. They have some studs that were waiting in the wings on D. Michigan has a good coach who brought in some solid portal talent. USC is a solid D away from challenging for a playoff spot. Washington was one of the youngest teams in the B1G last year.

Nebraska could be becoming old school SEC...
The College Sports Commission has opened an investigation into Nebraska for bending rules on NIL deals with athletes.

Also, former Nebraska ad bill moos has written a book just out now that exposed the mess in Nebraska athletic dept in his years.
As recently as 2018 he and some regents were pushing to leave BIG to go back to Big 12.

Also said he did not want to hire Frost but public sentiment and meddling regents made him do it.
His initial impression of frost?
" Too immature".
