Since I am now in the bleachers where I sat as a Freshman so many decades ago I was wondering if anyone knew if seat cushions were allowed? My gut says no.

I would assume as long as they fit in your spot they would be, but maybe they would be considered a security risk because you could hide something in them?

I would be shocked if seat cushions aren't allowed. Of course, I was shocked yesterday at the gross incompetence of whoever is responsible for determining the playing eligibility of Luka Bogavac. It never crossed my mind that the NCAA would rule him eligible, and then have UNC say "hold up... we haven't figured this out 3 months after he was cleared by admissions". There is just something incredibly wrong about that.

Seat cushions better be fine. We ordered 2 yesterday with backs on it. I know people last year had the flat ones.

What an absolute disaster and clown show by our ticket office. New email from the ticket office regarding chair backs for bleachers- which are now banned. But you can call the ticket office to get relocated? Where? The top rows of the sidelines as that’s all that is left? Or the corners and sidelines?

You beat me to it. I was coming here to post the same about seatbacks. I don’t use one but they aren’t large! And, as you said, your seats will suck if you ask for a change now.

At a bare minimum. they could offer school provided seatbacks for a fee, like FB did for years prior to the bench seat replacement. Tons of colleges still do that today.

You beat me to it. I was coming here to post the same about seatbacks. I don’t use one but they aren’t large! And, as you said, your seats will suck if you ask for a change now.

Just got off the phone with the ticket office- seat cushions are allowed. Seat backs are not allowed because they could alter the game day experience of the people beside you and the dimensions may be different.

If you move your seats, your options are the top couple of rows on the sidelines

My 71 year old back suffered through sitting on the rock-hard bleachers at the Charlotte and UCF football games this year. I feel sorry for those who were assigned bleacher seats for their season tickets.

I would love to know what other seats were available when the ticket office assigned people seats in the bleachers.
