Has anyone ever sat in section 240 in the upper level? Of course, I know that this section is not lower level type quality, but I was curious how the view is. I have a chance to buy season tickets and was curious how 240 compares to other sections in the upper level. I would only be a couple rows up in this section, so I figured that might be better than being on the sidelines 25 rows up.

Thoughts?

I appreciate any advice anyone is able to provide :)

Upper section is pretty equal throughout the arena. Toughest part is the bench seating!!! Gets rather uncomfortable as the game goes on.

Thanks! It’s a pretty large investment to get season tickets so I’m hoping the seats are alright. I’ve only sat in the sidelines of uppers so I wasn’t sure how it correlates to the end zones!

Mine are upper section 213. Pretty much in the center. Need to cough up some more money and move down into comfortable seats. Getting too old for a bench seat!!

I misread the seating diagram. I've actually sat close to where you're asking about. It's fun watching the student section below you. You'll have fun so go for it.

Really? Awesome! Plus it’s on the side closest to the UK bench. It’s 1200 per seat, so 2400 total. Doesn’t seem like a bad deal to me

And you seats are 213, and pretty close to the very top correct? I believe I saw a post earlier where you were giving a large portion of your tickets away.

Pretty close to the top yes...doesn't matter I love it. Yes, giving away a few sets. Try to give back where I can. Looking forward to making someone's day.

I sit in 213 dead center court and love it. I also bring seat cushions so the bench seat doesn't bother me much. I just don't have the problem with upper level like some others, just happy to be in there having fun. And, I'm no youngster so that's not it either. Just love being in the environment of the arena. Not sure where 240 is, exactly, OP but if you are just a few rows up I'd be jumping on them.

Trust me on this. Take that money you would spend and put it aside. Then look at the maybe 4 games worth going to and get really good seats for those. 9 o’clock Tuesday and Thursday night games against teams like Miss st and LSU are awful, and there is zero percent chance you get your money back on those.

I actually asked to move to the last row so I would have more leg room. I think they thought I was crazy because I wanted to move up. They were able to accommodate me though.

Understandable. I’m going to try these seats out. I enjoy having tickets to all games because I take younger boys who have never been to a game or I will donate to benefit auctions. I’m just a crazy uk fanatic and having season tickets no matter the location is thrilling for me

As a Veteran, look into https://www.vettix.org/ you can donate any tickets and they will only go to a Veteran. I live in TX so it won't help me, but maybe an opportunity to make a young soldier's day.

This will be our 3rd season to have season tickets. We got picked thru the ticket office lottery. You can always ask to move each year if you aren't happy with your seats. They do your best to accommodate you if they can. We moved this year 9 rows lower in a different section.

For the games last year that I couldn't sell, I donated them to the Boys and Girls Club of Lexington. Just check their website/Facebook for contact info. I was happy to know that a kid who might have never had the chance to go to a game at Rupp was using the seats instead of them sitting empty.
