Where have you been? The class has been falling apart for 6 weeks now lol!!!We already have a class which moves the program forward. Alvarez and Taylor are ballers as is Padilla. Need to keep what we have and then augment from the transfer portal, and we’re good to go.
It's 2026 and we're in one of 2 superconferences being led by a Pre/AD combo the likes never before seen on The Banks. The past is irrelevant now.I can't wait to hear your answer as to which of Rutgers other head football coaches over the years had anywhere near the success that Schiano has had in recruiting. And which candidate to replace GS would do better here than he did in recruiting.
In case you hadn't noticed, Rutgers is a very difficult place to recruit top-level football talent.

Al Loves The AntisemiteWhat thread is this?
Wow, he’s making all the Main Board HS dropouts look smart in that thread.
Good call out. It's very Kyle Flood esque actually. I wonder if Al or Superlame or Quaid will respond to this one.Using multiple user ids between posting the thread and responding confirms the burner accounts.
He's the Schiano of the board - was cute at first but now is an embarassmentCan we fire Al? In all seriousness? He’s just another piece of the farce that is this entire program - the most recognizable message board “personality” we’ve got. And that’s a sad, scary fact
Amazing that the OL played better when Vigna, the guy YOU said was a revelation, was benched because he was getting overpowered. After face-planting right out of the gate, against UMass, then stumbling through a mistake filled performance against BC, this season has lacked any semblance of hope, unless you want to count a moral victory against USC, which I’m not inclined to do. Completely outclassed by Indiana, this season was on the ropes. This extended to the first half of yesterday’s game where a myriad of mistakes, led Maryland to taking a double digit halftime lead. Lose to Maryland, and the season was effectively over. But as I chowed down on my delicious sausage sandwich, I remembered it was Maryland. We’ve come back before against them, we’ll simply have to do it again.
something happened after halftime, almost like a switch flipped.
The Offensive Line started mauling people. Lonergan made big throws, and avoided mistakes, ending up with 291 passing yards. Clay Thevinin started making some big runs, and had an important catch for a touchdown. The defense applied more pressure, and got some stops. Sean Allison had the best game of his Rutgers career. Korey Duff took over and made big play after big play. Dyzier Carter had the best game of his young career, ending up with 88 yards receiving, and flashing the big play potential we were all waiting for. Defense bent, but didn’t break, holding Maryland to a single 4th Quarter touchdown, in the 2nd half. Most importantly, we got the stop when we needed it most.
As I waited for my Amtrak back home, I couldn’t help but think that this was the start of something special. Those who never lost faith, were rewarded. 6 remaining winnable games. 6 opportunities. Win 4 of 6, and we’re bowling. It all starts with going 1-0 this week. Let’s get it!
