The saddest part about the whole story is that even if we played mistake free football we still don't have the talent to compete for the west much less the B1G...It's a complete rebuild. We have some nice players on defense but still lack the jimmy's and joes on offense.

Bs. Talent is plenty there for the crap West. Any decent coach would have this team competing for the West, albeit with a transfer qb not am

We can't or won't run the football and our QB is a basket case, I see 4 wins tops .

If Nebraska had a decent quarterback, you'd probably be singing a different tune.

No I wouldn't. We have 3 maybe 4 players who will contribute anything at the next level. Even with a competent quarterback we'd struggle against Wisconsin, Iowa, and even Minnesota. We're better talent wise than we have been for sure but that was a low bar to begin with. We have a long ways to go. This won't magically get better with a new head coach and scheme. We're still talking another 3-4 years before we sniff anything close to winning the west.

Like I said before, there are two wins on the schedule, two losses, and a large heap of maybes. This Illinois game answered all those maybes already. I truly anticipate two wins, maybe an upset over Michigan State to get us to 3, and that would be about it.

Don't be such a negative Nancy. Clearly there is an outside chance for 4 wins on the schedule.

How many current players on the Nebraska roster will be drafted? How many would get picked up in the portal by a Power Five team?

Recruiting numbers say Nebraska should be consistently 25th ranked team, and due to poor player development and gameday coaching the team will be fighting for 6th place in the weaker division of the B1G yet again.

I think it's important to let Frost hang himself, he will. The guy is arrogant, unlikeable, rude and a cheater. It will be painful to watch but we are used to it. Fire him at the end of the year with a negotiated buyout. Hope for Bob Stoops but chase after Luke Fickle. It's not like we lose anything with this recruiting class. That ship has sailed

Is the revenue loss of home attendance enough to offset the buyout??
The entire season rests on AM shoulders. He is living down to his incompetence. I had NU at 7-8 wins if AM was truely improved, and 2-3 wins if he was the QB of the past yrs. I only see 2 wins on the schedule.

The sellout streak is gone. How empty will the stadium be in November with no concession stand revenues..

Starting to wonder if we will be over 70k fans next week.

Lot of apathy setting in and you could get COVID at the game

The Illinois podcaster nailed it. Let Frost take all of these Ls, and when the NCAA investigation is complete, we terminate him with cause.

In 3 seasons as Nebraska head coach Frost has only beaten one team more than once and that is Illinois.

That would be nice. It's not my money obviously but it's embarrassing how much money this program pays in buy outs. Hell, we just gave Bill Moos $3 million to retire.

I agree it's over. You can see it in Frost body language. When a coach gets to that point it's only a matter of time.
Winning or losing this game he still has to win 6 games regardless what happened yesterday to save his job and it’s not going to happen now with no improvement in site..

He will be a dead man walking by mid season and by then we’ll know if the players are behind or have give up..

I think 60000 would be considered a victory. I won't be there and my tickets probably aren't worth the paper they're printed on. Not sure if I could find a homeless person to take them. I was going to go to StubHub and list them today. Scared to now!!!!!
