Knox is starting to learn to play within himself. Washington brings it, and Vanderbilt brings it. Diallo needs to learn his place, but other than that...we look good. Meh.. we will be a 4 or 5.
But quite honestly, I would prefer the 7. We will be fine like you said, and if we get am early game against a good but not great 2 seed we will be ready.

Vanderbilt is a stud. And kiss him goodbye, we Will hopefully see him for half a season.

They better be ready in March...when they're handed a seed that could knock them out of the first game.

Go kick rocks. We are 14-4 and could literally get any seed 1-9 at this point. I’m guessing a 4 but to say at best we get a 7 seed is downright foolish. We could get a 2-3 seed going 11-4 or a 4-5 going 9-6 the rest of the season very easily.

Yes i mean, we are Alot better than Scar but its mid season.

We would have to win out and MAYBE we would get a 1. We could win out more than likely we would be a 2. But thats silly. Look dont get mad, we will be a higher seed. We are the youngest team in basketball. Yes thats on Cal but cmon, be realistic. Even the Almighty Fab 5 went 25-9 and they had to win 5 straight games in the Ncaa tourney to even get 25 wins. They were a crappy 20-9 to start the tourney. We play 4 more games now so its possible they could have been 25-13.

They aren’t showing improvement because they haven’t had a full healthy roster all season. Like OP said, get everyone healthy and let’s see. The panic on this board by many is unbelievable

Here's the simple truths to be aware of, and I don't care if you want to understand it or not; if you've paid attention from the beginning of the season (and for the last 8):

- no one should have expected they would be any better than we are right now (record wise)
- we haven't played one game with a full roster this season
- super young, super inexperienced team
- past has proven, more times than not, that a Cal coached team looks like **** more times than not through January
- we lose road conference games often
- we have players every year that take time to develop, and these players often times don't listen to coach, argue with coach, and are selfish
- we start to gel and play for each other (the team I mean) around February
- we look pretty impressive last half of February, leading into conference tourney
- we look pretty darn good in March; good enough to make a run

Will we make a deep run, don't know. But I know we have the team to do it; and you will all see that soon. The same posters saying now that we suck, and we won't win anything / these guys will be the ones saying we are ready to win the whole thing later. Happens every year.

I've been consistent in my thoughts / we will struggle while we learn, come together, get healthy, listen, trust, play hard and with effort CONSISTENTLY, and respect the process. We have a team very capable of making a run to a final four - and then anyone one can win it all. We will be fine.

If you didn't see the possibilities after watching the beginning of the second half last night, you weren't paying attention. We have some guys that are going to be a fierce group to defend / if we listen and learn. And more times than not, they do just that. We have a scary mix of weapons that will be tough to stop - if we listen and learn.

I understand all of the bitching, it's just what we do as fans, so go for it - ***** away.....for now. But let's see what happens in February and March before we give up on this group. I have a feeling they will make you proud.
