Just like last year. I'm done with NU until Frost is fired.

I think the lower buy-out is about half... it's $15 mil before October ...then becomes $7.5 Mil

We had scored 28 points by the middle of the 3rd quarter and had an 11-point lead even with the bad fumble call on the NW 10-yard line. That doesn't sound like we were being dominated on both sides of the ball.

i think you guys are going to have a great season. Casey Thompson is a stud and your receivers look great.

Dude we will get dominated in the trenches on both sides of the ball all game. They will get eaten up when the schedule really heats up. Frost needs to get the f out.

Super painful loss. First game and we're already 0-1 in the B1G West. It's very hard to imagine as much as 6 wins and a crappy bowl game after today.

We've lost to NW every other year for awhile now, the season isn't over after today but it poisoned the Kool aid .

If you take your emotional connection to NU out of it, it becomes an entertaining reality show. Watch Scott scramble to keep his job over the course of the season. Odds are against him, but I love an underdog story.

What happened in the 4th qtr is typical of Frost and his team, they got dominated when they needed to find a way to win. Sad, but true.

If you are able I would encourage people who might have otherwise attended the next 2 games to stay home

we wouldn’t be in year 5 of this mess if all the lemmings weren’t jumping off the cliff every home gameday the last 3 years

This. Husker nation needs to send the money pinching Alberts a message. You want to save money Trev? How about losing 35,000 fans from each home game from now on? Watch how fast the Lincoln businesses start screaming. Watch how fast the donors start walking away when they see the fan base walking away. The one HUGE selling card NU still has left is that we can sell recruits on the rabid loyalty of our fan base. Look how much red was in Dublin! Take that fan base away and have games played in front of a half empty stadium and Nebraska is just Rutgers of the plains.

Being part of games where we lost game 1...season definitely isn't over. The b10 west is open and NW has shown it can muster close games and be at the top of the division. The worst part of yesterday besides the onside kick was the defense. Chins and the players should be embarrassed.

I think you are right about the defense. I do not blame Thompson for this loss. Yes, he got cold in the second half and made mistakes, but by then he knew that we had ZERO running game and our defense sucked. He knew at that point that the whole game was on his shoulders. You can't blame the kid for feeling the stress of it all. Had our defense played well we would have won this game going away. But that is because our defensive line has NO talent. The guys were are playing on the line are not very good players. Period. And that is not going to change. Nobody is waiting in the wings. And God help us if even one of them gets injured and we have to play some of our even less talented backups.

After laying out some serious coin for a "donation" and tickets it is pretty hard to not go to the only two games NU might win this year (and that isn't a given). Alberts already commissioned the season ticket holder survey where the number one answer for having a better Memorial Stadium experience was "winning football". He knows the fans are pissed. He fixed it so the university will save $7.5M when they fire Frost and gave him one more shot to show a few influential boosters (and an ex coach) Scott can't get it done. All things considered, including not being in the AD job for a year yet, firing HCSF after last season would have been ill-advised even though many of us wanted him gone then.

As long as you disregard your responsibilities to your student athletes you are correct

sorry guys - you deserve competent coaching and leadership role models but we gotta save a few dollars

hard to commit or stay committed to a school of that is the mentality of the AD
