Igbanu made a shot! Take it to the rim with authority, you got the skills!

Got lucky there. We didn't hustle back on defense and they blew the layup. Jogging back on D down by 2 with 4 min left is just crazy. Frank should be losing his mind on them right now

He knows who provides the butter for his bread. Got to give props for doing play-by-play and color, probably doing his own stats as well.

I love how hard Jackson plays. Glad Horne made some shots for us, need him to break out to have success this year.

I am getting a kick out of his broadcast but am curious how biased it is vs what is happening. Bruce is very good and a slight homer but for the most part is very fair.

Latest comment, “Tulsa is going to steal this game even though SE has thoroughly out played Tulsa”

Bruce has been good for TU in my opinion, always enjoyed his broadcasts.

Tulsa has not played well but they haven’t “stolen” a game SELA should have won by any means. SELA is bad.

Horne has a crap line in tonight's game, but when you look at it through "clutch time" colored glasses it looks much better. Jackson and Rachel played big, just need the team to gel together a bit more.

I thought this would be the early season Haith WTF loss but they somehow figured out a way to go on a late run and then the SELA player shot a 3 pointer from 32 feet. Thank goodness for dumb opponents.

Damn... me too.

Glad to see the guys pull it off.

TU started off good with a 24-16 and then Haith did his substitution thing and the next thing the game is 34-34 at the half. At the 36 minute mark it was still a toss-up. This is a game with good coaching that TU should have won by 20. Igbanu and Ugboh, when you are 1 foot from the basket dunk the ball don't try to bounce it in off the backboard. What are those 2 wearing lead cushioned tennis shoes? Haith needs to put those 2 under the basket and have them do "dunking drills"!

I tracked the score on Tulsa’s stats page while listening to the debates. Was pretty disappointed in both showings.

Rachael and Jackson continue to be big surprises, though I’m not sure those two will be able to out-athlete our opponents come conference play. This team needs to improve and do it quickly on the fly.

I can't believe Horne and Igbanu's problems will last much longer. Hopefully after they start to carry their load, one or two others will start playing better.(Maybe Earley and Hill/Joiner.)

This was a game that even with crappy coaching we should win by 20. I hate following the pre-conference games each year for fear of stroking out.

Maybe on the stolen ball, but not the T. The guy flopped, didn't get the call, and then yelled at the official

I didn't realize it, but according to Bruce/Rollo the flop was an automatic T, they supposedly modified the rule that a clear flop is an auto technical and Hill wasn't remotely close to coming in contact with him.

Actually the strange whistle that stopped play and no one knew why was the warning, it came after a made free throw I believe. I didn't know the signal the referee gave: Palm's towards the body hands at shoulder. Hands go down like a grown up reaching down to pick up a child. It's the signal for a flop. You get a warning. The second one is a tech.

Rachal and Jackson are the real deal. We need another shooter along with Horne and Horne to get back to his normal shooting percentages. Igbanu giving us a strong inside game and Ugboh continuing to be able to give some minutes and production while in, will allow us to compete. There is possibility on this team the question is can it be realized.

The veteran coach we added has given us better substitution patterns all though occasionally it's still squirrely. Pretty sure he is the one who has been drawing up the set plays on inbounds and out of time outs. Kwanza seems to be making some progress with our rebounding and big men. Good adds to the staff so far.

I am traveling so I was only able to listen to Bruce and JR on the interwebs. But JR was apoplectic that no one was boxing out on rebounds. I swear it sounded like he was gonna jump the press table and snag a couple of rebounds himself.

He knows the game much better than me but it made me feel good because right before he went on that rant I was yelling at my screen for guys to box out. The time he was saying that literally NOBODY for Tulsa was boxing out they were all just trying to out jump the other team for the ball.
