SDSU losing to AF - second half

Ideal is SDSU wins the tournament and Utah State takes a bad loss early. That would keep the MWC at one bid. If Utah State gets to the title game against SDSU and loses, or if SDSU goes down and another team wins the tournament, then either likely or definitely it's a 2-bid league.
Not one bid. St Mary’s will get in too and could still win the tourney but an SDSU loss really increases the chance of a bid stealer claiming the auto-bid. St Mary’s just isn’t that much better than Boise, UNLV, etc. Utah State is not a lock.
You mean St Mary’s right? Why on earth would you want a team that Lunardi and some others has behind RU on the bubble to get the auto-bid? I mean, it would be better than Boise getting it but still not good.
ah got it. This isn’t good at all. Your right then. Utah State would be the next best option to win, but they probably weren’t getting in ahead of RU without beating SDSU.
Yea I was sure SDSU had taken control especially after Air Force's 5th yr. senior fouled out but they're battling back. 1st I've watched of SDSU, color me unimpressed.
Best part about these conference tournaments is when the favorite gets down at halftime. SD State 2H spread was easy $.
The team we have to worry about is Nevada. They beat San Diego State on the road and although they are 85 in the Net and 76 on Kenpom and no chance for at large , they could win the tourney outright. Hopefully then they replace Potential bubble Utah State and keep it to 2 teams from the Mountain West.
Ive seen the last 4 or 5 SD St games, they have been very ordinary for the first halves, they probably peaked already
