It’s clear he’s not pulling for us...fingers crossed we pull this out....for many reasons but also as a big FU to him..
If he keeps looking sickly he may not last too long.

Best commentator in the business. Only people who dislike him are thin skinned fans who can’t stand anyone saying anything negative about the team they root for. All they want is pure sunshine and positive things over the brutal honest truth. Those are the fans that everyone talks about when they say so and so fan base is crazy, stupid, ignorant, inbreed etc.

Not true. I dislike him because he's unbearably smarmy. He always thinks he is right. He's self-absorbed. It's obnoxious. He needs to learn to be humble but has no interest in such things. What he says is less important to me than his attitude.
Agreed. I actually liked him a few years back but he's turned into a Duke troll.

I'd rather listen to him than Dickie V. He's OK...definitely smarmy and full of himself, but he gave us our props for the comeback W.
If you are going to throw around insults like "inbred", you might want to spell it right poser.
He actually sounded depressed when it was clear Cats were going to win.

I don't always agree with Bilas (the last jump ball was not a foul on Diallo. Just two kids fighting for the ball). But he is the best commentator by far. Not afraid to disagree with calls. Impartial with the exception of MAYBE duke but he did go there so its understandable. If you don't like Bilas, you don't like anyone.
Jay Williams on the other hand made the right call and got booed by WVU fans.
To me, he seems to just go through the motions these days. Boring actually.

He really had a hard on for us. It was obvious he did not like the way it was slipping away from WVA and let it be known by being critical of the refs calls and other such excuses. He acted like he was very disappointed in the outcome.
Sounded like he was at the morgue when we locked it up. His two faves got flushed at home and th cats win. Hope the suicide hotline has adequate staffing.
Bilas knows the game and can be good at announcing a game. Thing is, he has his favorites that he will say more positive things about certain teams while pointing out the bad more so with some things.

Tonight; they go to their 1-3-1 zone and the first thing Bilas brings up is "wonder how Cal likes seeing this; last time in 2010 they didn't do so well against it" (not word for word, but close) and the same time Knox hits 3, he did bring that up.
Got to get that dinger in there.

Thanks for telling everyone, who doesn't agree with you, why they are wrong about Bilas. He thinks he knows everything and will slam it down your throat constantly. Quite often he doesn't even talk about the game in front of him. Just because others don't like him doesn't mean they are ignorant inbreeds. I think people who put others down , when they don't agree with them, are thin skinned a$$holes.
Bilas..or should it be 'Bias', is becoming more and more of a thinly disguised hatchet man...and it's a shame. He is one of the more articulate and well informed analysts in the game, and when he's just talking basketball, I find him highly likable. He could be a terrific spokesman for CBB. He lost me when he he started spitting out the legalistic party line that UNCheat shouldn't be penalized, because students in the general population took a few of the phony classes, and that the NCAA has no business interjecting itself into the academic policiy of a given University. WVU fouls on every play...they grab, push, block, and shove constantly. The don't set moving picks...they block like offensive lineman. If I'm not mistaken, Bilas even mentioned their style is very aggressive and could lead to fouls being called on them every play. For them to have anyone left in the game at half time was exceedingly generous by the officials. For Bilas to whine to the degree he did over a couple of calls that went in our favor-given the roughness of the game in general-was outrageous.
