IMO Tai should've played that idol-- rode with Jason/Scott for as long as he could. Play it & try to find it again when they put it back in the game.
I Don't know about that, If he plays it all they have left is his advantage, no more idols for those 3. Since he didn't play it he gets to get back in the good graces of the council, gets credit for making a huge game move, keeps his idol, still has his advantage and is part of the majority alliance going forward.

His extra vote advantage is huge. He can play it anytime until 5. He makes it that far and he has the numbers basically all by himself. Not to mention he is very good in immunity challenges. He will win that again as well most likely. I think he probably wins if I had to guess right now.

I thought Tai made a huge mistake not playing the Idol last night. I wasn't huge fan of either Scott or Jason but Tai and Scott/Jason could have made it to the Final 3 easy. If they would have eliminated Aubry last night the 3 could have picked off the remaining players and made it to the Final 3. Tai had won a couple of challenges and most of the players really got along with Tai. If Tai would had made it with Jason and Scott to the Final 3 the Jury couldn't stand Scott/Jason and Tai would had a Million dollar prize easily handed to him.

Tai screwed that up. He wins EASILY if he takes those two clowns to the end. On the other hand, he'll win anyway if he gets to the final 3 since everyone hated Scott and would applaud Tai for the move. But he just made it a bit tougher to win.

If Tai had given Scott the idol, they would have revoted. Scott would have been safe. They could only have voted for Tai or Aubrey. Tai would have been sent home.

I'm just curious to know if any of you guys feel that Luke and Laura will get back together on General Hospital?

Never seen survivor in my life. I have not watched any of the reality shows that most are fake anyways.

Middle school basketball coach spent a good 15 minutes before a practice telling us all to "play as vicious as Scott Pollard" without ever telling us who the hell he was. I knew vaguely, a couple others might have had an idea, but absolutely no one knew what coach really meant at all.

Remember a guy, only hearing "vicious" probably, essentially body slamming a guy in the weave drill while the rest of us were like :flushed:

Thats true under the way it played out.. but ultimately Tai must've voted for Scot-- had he voted for Aubrey it would've sent her home, right?

He did and Aubrey is to be credited with turning him. She is playing the game like a boss. I predict either she or Michelle wins.

Anyone watch Survivor last night where Scott Pollard got voted out with a nasty blindside? He acted like ann arrogant butt the whole game and one of his own alliance hung him out to dry, it was great. I never had much of an opinion of him until Survivor and he came off as a jerk.

Scot was just paying homage to his alma mater.

If there is one thing Jayhawks know how to do, it's getting sent home early by inferior competition.

Loved the blindside, one of the best in a long time. Thought Tai's best shot (at least based on what he knew) was to stick with Scot and Jason and Julia. He has a better chance of beating them at the end, and the challenges he is likely to win or do well are probably challenges where he has a better shot at beating the guys than the girls+Joe. Plus, Tai has likely already irritated the female alliance by flipping (at least to a degree), I don't know that flipping on a second alliance is great gameplay by him.

I'm also now convinced Aubry is the winner.

Aubry is gone if Tai votes for her. To answer the original question, Tai's idol also wouldn't matter here. If he was inclined to save Scot he would never have voted for him at all.

Whatever happened to that one guy who played basketball at Bama named Pollard that kidnapped that little girl or something like that?
He went to Houston. Had a pretty good senior year this past season. I looked him up once and he was averaging like 15 a game.
