If the players brought in on attack play up to their capabilities, this will be a completely different offense. It looks a lot like the FF attack with Scott at X, Barolo as the righty hammer and Cameron as a lefty dodger / finisher.
Honestly this attack has the potential to be even better. Scott is simply a player and would probably excel at close D if necessary. But the reality is that he is not a true X attack. He is a midfielder at the pro level. The guy we are bringing in is a true X. He is not nearly the total player that Scott is/was but may be a better true feeder / initiator. The lefty may be almost as good as Cameron. I see similarities in their games. Bartolo was had a howitzer and primarily forced defenses to either step out and defend the perimeter and open up the middle or give him the step down. Kurdyla gives us that plus he is an elite dodger, feeder and finisher. If the new pieces perform like I think they can, I expect Kurdyla to have a first team all American type season. There aren’t many players in the country with more talent, but he has not been able to fully showcase his talent because he has had to be the QB. He needs to spend most of his time above GLE where he has to be accounted for on every possession.
