UK and UT will be battling it out next season with Auburn right behind them. SEC will be tough next year.

Would you prefer the SEC be really tough or like seeing UK dominate and rack up wins for a high seed? Not sure young teams led by freshmen make those road games difficult to win.

SEC is hands down the toughest conference in three sports now. Football, baseball, and dare I say basketball.

The ACC hasn’t got anything on the SEC in basketball right now.

Name one conference that from Top to Bottom will be as tough as the SEC will be in basketball this upcoming season. You can’t do it with any honest opinion.

It depends on what happens for uk tomorrow at midnight. If they get 2/3 back UK is probably the favorite.

UT doesn't have a post player, a big that could go up can grab any rebounds, they will be a top 15 preseason ranked team. But once they play a bigger team in the SEC they will lose to teams like UK,AU,Ark.

Kid is a stud. Love his attitude and game. UTEE is going to be very tough again. An improved SEC is good for the Cats and for Cal. As a matter of fact these other schools got serious about bb once Cal started slaying them every year in the tourney.

Kyle Alexander will be much improved this year. UT will be top 10, maybe top 5 to start the season and I suspect they will stay there. They didn’t have much trouble with the bigger teams you mention last year. UT/ UK will be co-favorites in the SEC next year

UT will be really good again next season but I don't think they'll be much better than they were this past season when they overachieved a **** ton. Yes, they took 2 out of 3 vs. UK last season but PJ left the game early in Knoxville so that one got away from us..then we were in the midst of playing like **** when they beat us in Rupp Arena and they barely beat us by two points..that happened during our 4 game losing streak. Then when both teams were at their highest peak of last season, UK beat UT..and it was in the biggest game between the two..in the SEC Tournament Final. Keep in mind, last season's UK team was probably our second worst under Coach Cal...next season's UK team won't be.

I'm not worried about UT next season when it comes to our matchups with them.

Y'all might want to take a hard look at LSU, it may not just be up to UK, UT and AU. LSU will have the talent to compete for the league title too.

The SEC is going to be ridiculously tough this year.

But yeah, Admiral Schofield is a good strong player, some will hate him just because he's a UT guy, but we all know we would love him if he played for UK.

Jarnell Stokes... Those are some big shoes to fill. And I gotta...

Rick Barnes has withdrawn his name from consideration in the NBA draft.

A twofer.

I think jarnell’s brother starts his career at Florida next season,
Gators will be good again, too.

but wait and see if the ACC doesn't have the most teams and they will be higher seeds.

With Tremont Waters back from the draft pool, LSU will be really good. Williams, Reid, and Smart are all excellent 5-star freshmen to pair with a guy like Waters and they have a decent bench too.

Florida has Hudson back and they brought in Nembhard (5-star type) to replace Chiozza. Allen and Hudson are two very good seniors.

Mississippi State brings back all of their main guys and bring in 5-star Reggie Perry.

Missouri could be pretty good if Jontay Porter returns today. It will definitely be a conference of haves and have-nots. On the low end will be Vanderbilt (Shittu and Garland aren't enough), A&M (only Gilder returned), South Carolina (may be a surprise, especially if Bowens eligible), Ole Miss (Terence Davis came back, but that's not enough), Georgia, Alabama, and Arkansas (last three all have interesting players but not enough firepower)

Schofleid, at 6-5, is probably not getting any taller (at least not enough to make any difference draft wise)

Using the combine to improve his game is a wise move.

A 6-5 inside player, is not getting any NBA dreams to come true.

He is, however, one helluva college player.
