Look when he was first hired I was on board. I do t think we should rehire him, just my opinion. Now if he is rehired I will support him but for all the fans shouting GS or bust I have a question. What are you gonna say if he only win 4 Big Ten games in the next 3 years. Where do we go from there, we need a coach that is ready to put in long days. I don’t think GS is that person at this point in his life.It really makes no sense to NOT want Greg. The idea is to get a coach who can turn this program around. How many available coaches have done that before?
I would venture a guess and say not too much overlap. How many of the people shrieking for Schiano are the same knowledgeable fans who thought a win over UMass meant we might go bowling this year?
Absolutely hilarious! And really accurate at the same time.Meeting of all known Schiano-Haters

Well it's a little dated. This was taken before Schiano left. They've lost about half their membership since then.Absolutely hilarious! And really accurate at the same time.

hug my nuts peanut mani have an idea... stop with the shenono nut hugging and then we can talk about a REAL coach for RU
Why, yes there is:Serious question:
Is there any other coaching candidate who a) fully understands the challenges they'd face by accepting the Rutgers job and b) has proven himself capable of turning a 1 win team into an 11 win team that finished in the top 20?
If there is, I'd like to hear a name (and Nick Saben doesn't count).
It depends who we hire and how he presents his vision. $$$$How many season tickets do you think will be sold if he's not?
any good head coach not named "gary"Who do you want as coach?
The Ash lovers - all 5 of themthe shirkers were the anti-Schiano posters.
What a bunch of stupid comments. There is simply no way Hobbs is going to make an announcement until after the season is over even if it is Schiano. I wish the Schiano crowd would just calm down and relax.
We all know there is a very vocal minority who only will accept Schiano. Some of them I believe are more Schiano fans than they are Rutgers fans, so they will always have an excuse ready if he does not succeed here even in 5, 6, or 7 years. There simply will be no accountability for Schiano and they will shout down anyone who even tries to hold him accountable just like the are trying to shout down anybody who wants Hobbs to run a legit search before he makes a decision.
Very intelligent response, but one I would expect from a cultist. What a bunch of stupid comments.
+10,000I'm just curious how many season tickets will be sold next year if GS is our new coach. With all the GS mania, you would think the number would skyrocket. People will open up their wallets to be part of a bright future. Personally, I think we will be lucky to keep the number in the current range. The product is that damaged. Maybe we will find out. $$$$

But it is 48. It's their classic response. Anyone but Schiano. It aptly describes their level of hatred for the man. The simply don't like him and are willing to base the future of the program on it. As long as Schiano is not hired they'll be happy. Why? Because it will make the program better? Nope. Because it will make them feel better because they were disappointed at all those West Virginia games, because he hurt their feelings when he left for the NFL, because he didn't build a foundation that was indestructible, because he never won a Big East title. And because of that they will never forgive him, even if he can drag us out of us this abyss. That's not an answer. Who specifically of the named available options do you want? And please list why that specific coach is more likely to turn it around here at rutgers than schiano.
Prove it, list names, not off of this site, but actual names. I believe there are currently more than 500,000 living alumni you can start there. I would like a spreadsheet listing at least 250,001 names supporting Schiano for HC by the end of the week.BWAHAHAHAHA! A very vocal minority? You describe yourself and your Schiano-hating club. A huge majority want Schiano back. You keep thinking there's only a few of us if that makes you feel better though.
I refer you to Reddit, NJ.com, the Asbury Park Press and innumerable polls from this site. Now I would like you to provide me with a list of card-carrying He Man Schiano Hater Club members. Should take you about 10 seconds. Got more than 10?Prove it, list names, not off of this site, but actual names. I believe there are currently more than 500,000 living alumni you can start there.
