For those of you who trash Sciano, you look foolish. Really foolish.

For those of you wringing your hands over why we did not hire him again, you also look a little foolish.

We are in good hands with Ash and Schiano will be fine. Let it go and let it play out.

Im just saying there were other more attractive and safer hires out there. I honestly believe you guys are underestimating the recruiting damage he's going to do in this area.

I'm no doubting there could be a loss or two but Meyer and OSU really don't need much help do they? I like most of your posts but believe you really went overboard on that one. I believe Hobbs went for the best he could get based on what he had to work with, He couldn't concern himself with "what if's", he had to deal the reality of what is going on at RU.

Seems like we did not. Hobbs really rolled the dice if so. Was hoping that GS just had no interest at this time. Makes it easier to turn the page as opposed to these constants posts about what would have been which I acknowledge would have been very different.

This is so win-win it's unbelievable.

Schiano is the epitome of diminishing returns. That's why it's best for us that he go to a great program where his added value is actually small as compared to say going to downtrodden Miami or Maryland where he would have had a much, much greater impact IMO.

Schiano recruited New Jersey so well he didn't have a Top 25 class until he was heading out the door. He was a decent recruiter but clearly very many of the best recruits in New Jersey still were not impressed.
