I wouldn't waste time ratuonalizing with that poster. There's something not quite right with him......between his continual 3rd person references and his obsessive posts about Schiano never getting fired similar to how he posted the Wimsatt would continually stay at RU and the starter. Many suspect he's a troll from Sara or State Penn and have him on ignore.

Separating from Schiano will not be easy but I agree will happen. Too much fan backlash that will manifest in ticket sales drops and donation dips.
That’s what deadbeat Al is . A troll from Penn St who non-stop posts undermine any success the team could actually achieve going forward.

I’m glad I missed the game yesterday. Really improved my afternoon. Also question if I can spend that time doing more enjoyable activities.

on the QB development issue, we did just develop a to-be-benched QB to a NFL QB. I think AJ is just another good high school QB that didn’t translate at the college level.

Respect Shelby’s arse. The Respect bus ran out of gas last year. It’s a shame the money people care more for his feelings than for the university, the football team and the fans..which is why the team stinks.

The irony is how does running him out there for these embarrassing pressers a sign of "respect"?

If the idea was "Mid season firing would be disrespectful to him and the players. It would be a distraction. Players deserve a distraction free season"
How is that working out?

So instead he is publicly embarassed in pressers. Non stop chatter from friends and family asking if Schiano will be fired.
Media speculation.
Wait until a report gets leaked "Zinn speaking to agents for potential coaches" and Schiano gets asked about it.

And its only going to get worse with each loss and continued uncertainty.

The difference is, the money people are more invested in Schiano, golf outings with him, millionaires-only soirees than in the short-timer disposable players. The Grifter feeds off this dynamic like vampire bats silently gorge on blood.

Al is way offbase and his posts are to the point of nausea. Because of it he's become the brunt of fan ire. However, he's hardly the reason RU is not successful.

AK had 3 years of development elsewhere. Rutgers doesn’t get the majority of the credit.

Surace and Wimsatt were those opportunities.
by the same OC. He left Minn because he was getting benched.

QB is the hardest position to judge. High school is just not at the same level of competition.

ETA we got the most out of Wimsatt. No other coach came close to getting the production he had at RU.

Any way you slice it, Rutgers doesn’t get the credit for fully developing AK. And if I’m not mistaken, KC had him for just 1 year at Minnesota.

Your comment about Wimsatt doesn’t make any sense as both Kentucky and Jacksonville State had better QBs than Wimsatt, even after Wimsatt was trained at a Big Ten school for 3 years It works against your point because both schools had better QB talent than RU, even a FCS team. At Kentucky, he was flat out beat out. At Jacksonville State, he was benched after 5 games before Creel took over and played very well, leading them to a conference title.

If AK stayed at Minnesota, he was going to be a backup. RU/KC saw enough talent to get him. Maybe AK just developed himself.

on GW, we won games with him as a starter. No other coach was able to do that.

AK improved significantly from when he first got here to his final year.

He was either D3 level when he arrived or he’s been negatively developed. I’d bet the latter. He’s a coach’s kid. They usually have great fundamentals and feel for a game at minimum. He has neither.
D3? Come on. He can play D1 but G6. He had an awful last game but showed some glimpses prior. But he’s not a P4 QB IMO.

I’ve heard Ashenfelder is about 5’11”. If so, he’s depth and not really competing for QB IMO unless the offense changes to a running QB.
The entire QB room under GS 2.0 has been dreadful except AK. He may be the only P4 QB we’ve had on the roster under 2.0. AK was really good.

Stupidest post today.
AJ threw 4 interceptions at BC. Cost us the game.
Yes but so do many young QBs in their first start. Look, I don’t think he’s a P4 QB but you can’t overdo his first start.

but vs NW he looked worse than Wimsatt and that’s hard to do

Kelli has to do something if we aren’t better than 5-7 and we clearly won’t be. She said we’d of last season she’s looking for improvement.

I am not sure we get 1 more win. Maybe.

agree with this
coming in cold, not a lot of reps with the 1, game speed needs adjustment and they were coming at him so his internal clock was never there. People don't realize it's not easy and why you see hand offs to settle the feet and get some color in your face.
