Think he means to include Tennessee. What was the school before OSU? I thought it was Rutgers.

Traitor? You should brush up on the meaning of that word!Hobbs is a traitor.
The last two schools that tried to hire him turned into PR nightmares for those schools. His short unexplained stint at New England was also awkward to say the least. Can't see another school wanting to even risk talking to him. If you want him, it tends to end ugly.
BAC can more than handle himself but what's with you always going personal every time he posts?
You're a decent enough poster (mho) that you don't need to go there man.
So when Tennessee hires him, then backs out because of a massive outrage in the fan base over false allegations, it somehow is Schiano's fault?
Well considering one was the rapists boss and the other was a GA, yes.. That is what I believe. So RU fans believe Paterno knew but not Schiano?
Look, I will admit I am a UT fan, Alum and season ticket holder. I am also a Rutgers fan and NJ native, so I read this board fairly regularly. My "revolt" was about being pissed off, but that's about it. My only call in to a radio station was about them not hiring an SEC coach. I was pissed off because I thought Schiano would be a bad hire due to his not having any ties to the Southeast, especially in recruiting. If you're an SEC coach, you'd better be able to recruit GA,FL, AL and all of the SE states. The PSU stuff was overblown by a lot of the UT fan base and it was flat out wrong to tie that to Schiano. So when Tennessee hires him, then backs out because of a massive outrage in the fan base over false allegations, it somehow is Schiano's fault?
At least those are valid reasons to not want to hire him, and I cant disagree with them. My problem, like I said was people using the PSU stuff against him, and this nonsense was lead by Clay Travis. The reason I brought it up was because the OP said that Tennessee "tried to hire him" but Schiano turned it into a PR nightmare which is nothing close to what happened.Look, I will admit I am a UT fan, Alum and season ticket holder. That should have nothing to do with RU hiring Schiano. The dude can flat out coach. He knows New Jersey and he could put together a great staff with NJ ties, as long as the RU BOG will buy in to being a Power 5 football program. He was successful the first time, but could be much more successful this time if only the RU BOG and Hobbs would support him . If they don't, you have to wonder if RU 1000 has left a permanent mark on RU.
I think Schiano will end up in a good spot. Ideal for him might be BC. Could make major impact on recruiting with NJ and Ohio Catholic schools. Belichick connection would play well in Boston. I believe Jonathan Kraft’s son is going to walk on next fall and any Patriots connection can only help. BC should also be willing to step up on assistant salaries. Indoor practice facility is very nice. ACC Atlantic is obviously not as daunting as Big Ten East. Granted he won’t catch Clemson and FSU will come back, but he can build a program that wins 8/9/10 games and is competitive. At least those are valid reasons to not want to hire him, and I cant disagree with them.
