So who would you rather have?

Why can't we have both, if they are elite recruiters? If he is that good, I love the idea of having him and he brings youth - relatable to the kids, comes from a basketball family - so he should be decent at player development.

I will be interested to see how this plays out.

Nice! Welcome! He is an up and coming talent. RR seems upset to lose him, so he must be good. Plus fresh perspective and all that. Was an assistant under Barnes at Texas as well. Known as a good recruiter.

Wow, if they can lock up Young as well, it will be a very productive week for Scheyer and the boys. My only thought, it's a very young staff.

Lucas has been their best recruiter since he arrived. Was the guy who landed TyTy, Collins, Wallace, & Sharpe. Only big time recruit that he wasn’t the lead recruiter on that Kentucky landed since Lucas arrived was Livingston.

Lucas leaving could really hurt them. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to see immediate returns from a recruiting perspective because our 2023 class is basically done. However, it should allow us to get a huge lead over Kentucky in the class of 2024.

It's not enough for Jon to steal UK's recruits; now he even steals UK's recruiter. Louisville really playing the 4D Chess against UK with taking Nolan from us so that we take Jai.

Joking aside this is actually very interesting and not a good look for UK. Particularly interesting is that this can't be about money for Jai as you know UK would have matched any offer Duke gave, and yet he still left Cal for Jon who has no Head Coaching experience? At least with Nolan there were personal factors.

With this NIL now in place, to go along with the crazy transfer rules, college sports are no longer about academics. They haven't been about academics for quite a while. So why not have a 'General Manager' for the basketball team?

College sports have turned into nothing but a business. Great move by Jon.
