do you know how silly you sound right now? IU is regionally in the 2nd largest TV region in the country for college viewers...? IU does not NEED UK- but the game home and home would be great-
Yes and Kentucky is the Largest Basketball viewing area in the country,Kentucky can schedule big games with other classier teams and fan bases. If IU doesn't need Kentucky then why are you asshats constantly trying to force the game? After the way the scum in Assembly Hall acted toward Kentucky Fans and the way IU Fans on the Internet constantly insult UK and Kentucky,we do not need anything to do with bunch of Trash in Bloomington

Lil' Dummy, I will use smaller words this time so you can keep up: I have been a UK basketball fan since the tail end of the Rupp era. The annual Kentucky-indiana game was part of the UK lore and tradition. And I am one of those who was happy to see the NCAA selection committee fix [albeit for only one season] what Calipari unwisely broke.
Funny how all the Low Post Count TROLLS crawl out after a loss and throw insults,After the way the scum fans at IU treated Kentucky Fans and endangered our team in 2012 ,UK needs no part of that cesspool. IU can go to hell and the crooked Selection Committee can suck it too, funny how they only schedule it on a UK down year ,not last year did they?Because NCAA Tourney is rigged to help their ACC Darlings, the NCAA is Corrupt and needs to be abolished,CBS is full of UK Haters that need to F#$% off too

I'd MUCH rather see a double-header in Atlanta every year with UK, UofL, UNC and Dook. The two Kentucky schools vs. the two NC schools and every year the teams switch opponents. Call it The Battle of the South or Blueblood Showdown, whatever.

I'd also like to see UCLA on the schedule in a yearly series. Even Kansas or Michigan State.
Every one of the teams I mentioned have won Championships since IU. Got to have some perspective. Playing at *** Hall does nothing for the UK program. It only gives credence to a program long gone from importance and puts our fans in actual physical jeopardy.
Sorry IU, one victory over a very mediocre UK team isn't enough to make you worthy.

Since our IndBred guests seem incapable of grasping their barbaric and ******* behavior is an unacceptable environment, here's another MAJOR reason why
we could care less if we played you ever again. Apart from our 17-9 record against you since you hung your last banner and Reagan called for Gorbachev to
tear down this wall in 1987. You have sucked. You are no longer considered a member of the blue blood club. You have laughably achieved the dubious distinction
of having acquired 1,000 losses. Do you have any idea how completely laughable that is? Tom Crean's face.

Let's break it down, crunch the numbers and examine your suckage shall we. Feel free to polish the turds for they are many.

Head to head
UK leads the all-time series 32-25 --- UK leads the series 10-3 since the turn of the century

All-time NCAA wins
UK --- 2,205 wins 682 losses .764 #1
IU --- 1,784 wins 1,002 losses (that is truly pathetic) .640 #10 and sinking fast
Enjoy hitting the 2,000 club IndBreds (something UK accomplished 7 years ago) around the year 2029 - that is your current pace under the mad clapper

NCAA appearances all-time
UK - 56
IU - 39

Final Fours all-time

UK - 17
IU - 8

Success since 1987 (aka last time Indiana won a championship)
UK --- 776 wins 230 losses - .771 --- (8 Final Fours + 3 National Championships)
IU --- 603 wins 336 losses - .642 --- (2 Final Fours + ZERO National Championships)

Since the turn of the century 2000
UK --- 456 wins 143 losses - .761 -- (15 NCAA Tournament appearances + 4 Final Fours + National Championship)
IU --- 305 wins 217 losses - .584 -- (11 NCAA Tournament appearances + 1 Final Four + ZERO National Championships)

Since last coaching change
UK under Calipari (7 seasons) 216 wins - 46 losses - .824 -- (6 NCAA Appearances + + 4 Final Fours + National Championship)
IU under the Clapper (8 seasons) 126 wins - 119 losses - .533 -- (4 NCAA Appearances + ZERO Final Fours + ZERO National Championships)

The most pathetic stat of all

Billy Gillispie --- 40-27 .597
Creepy Clapper --- 136-119 .533

Rupp and his four national championships weren't afraid to play on campus at Indiana. Neither was Hall, Sutton, Pitino or the Tubs. Even Gillispie wasn't scared to play in Assembly Hall. So why do so many give Calipari a pass for ending the long-standing rivalry with Indiana simply because he was called bad names on the way out of the building? Honestly, I thought guys from the east coast are supposed to be tougher than that.

Calipari is nothing more than a steward of the UK basketball program. The Kentucky-indiana basketball rivalry was here long before Calipari took up residence in Lexington, and it should be put back on the annual schedule.

Calipari didn't end it because he was called names. He ended it because Crean tried to back out of an agreement at the last minute and then use the media and this "afraid to play" nonsense to try and strong arm UK. Calipari refused to play that game and stuck to his guns, rightly so.

Apparently, most failed to pay attention to these things. Otherwise, they would recall that Caliapri announced in 2009 that he was discussing moving the game back to a neutral site with Crean. It was one of the first things he did when UK hired him. Cream was onboard with this until the 2011 game, when he switched course. Why he did that, who knows. I would suspect, however, that he thought this would play well with the IU fan base. It's obvious that they weren't paying attention to what was occurring behind the scenes anyway.

I sincerely hope that we refuse to play IU until they decide to play according to the terms they had already tentatively agreed to.

We don't have to schedule to play them. We will play them again and beat the breaks off'em in the tournament.
They are less worthy, then many teams Kentucky should play. They say our coach cheats, which is envious nonsense. They won yesterday, but they've already lost as far as i'm concerned.
They bring nothing to the table but hate. Every dog has its day,but the good ones have more, than just this one. Their fans have alienated our fans to much to ever want to continuously want to play them.

If loosiers want to play us every year then all they have to do is make the tourny every year and i'm sure the selection committee will see that it happens.

I support Cal 100% in his decision not to play Indiana in Bloomington -- even if it means we don't play in the regular season.

Now that they've beaten us in the second round of the NCAA tournament, I'll bet they'll be dying to play us in the regular season, and that they'll cave on the Indiana site. I won't be surprised if we play Indiana in Indianapolis in 2016-17 and in Louisville in 2017-18.

Can we please schedule these fools again. home/home neutral site doesn't matter. especially next year.
If you were at the 2011 game at IN you wouldn't say that in a million years. There is one IN fan that should thank Orlando Antigua as that's who saved his life. The fan had pushed MKG to the floor and MKG came up with the idea of killing the guy. Antigua stepped in and grabbed MKG in a front bear hug and wouldnt let go. Antigua almost carried him back to the locker room to keep MKG from exploding. That was only one thing. But I NEVER WANT TO GO BACK to that hell hole again. The beat our fans up. Broke a girls leg. Spit on us. Cussed at us for 2 hours before the game. And then the rushing the floor incident. Naw, you go and have a good time. I want to never reward those folks with anything.

IMO it should only be played at a neutral site. Had a few friends that attended the last game at IU and it was awful the stories I heard about their experience

UK was already trying to decide a home and home series we were going to have to eliminate. IUsedtobe just made the decision for us with their asinine, unclassy behavior.

We don't need them.
