Actually saw where one of the linebeardz said they were tired of listening to trolling on their radio shows. Said that they knew it was a "big blew" fan because he said he was tired of being put on the defensive over the Louisville program...This is the good part...He also claimed he knew it was a UK fan because he could hear the "thin beard" through the phone. That is the very definition of delusional!

I was going to question what the young man was thinking by committing to UL while they are in the midst of this mess, but after seeing his twitter profile it makes more sense to me.

Actually, no it still doesn't. Why would ANYONE commit to UL right now? You know you are going to miss some postseasons, you know the program is going to go downhill for a few years, you don't know who your coach is going to be, and so much more... Surely he will wait to sign. He can't be that dumb.
The reason this guy committed is he figures he will be the highest rated player they sign for the next ten years. He looks at it as guaranteed PT.

Where did petmypetino go? I remember him saying that if any of the other stuff was true he would be back immediately and eat crow. Now, after posting that this might not be him or it could be a hack job then seeing it was him, petmypetrino has disappeared. Much like any respectability UL might of had before this problem.:flush:
I am still here. I am waiting for all of the facts to come out before I make any final determinations. I trust Tom will do the right thing.

Just FYI, I did call out Howie and John Ramsey. Both said nothing happened and I said if it turns out not to be true, they should resign their positions. I have called them both out on this board and said they should both resign. I still believe that. However, I am not sure the extent of which this story goes. My thoughts are that it probably isn't as bad as Katrina Powell is making out to be. Sorry, it's hard to trust a hooker trying to extort money. That's just me. Was there dancing? Probably. But it sounds like it was girls in swim suits. This goes on everywhere. I think the bigger question we should be focusing on is how did we get here as a society. This isn't a UofL problem, this is a world problem.

Swim suits? This comes from the OTL article: Said one of the recruits, who ultimately signed to play elsewhere: "I knew they weren't college girls. It was crazy. It was like I was in a strip club." Notice he didn't say "it was like a water park." I guess you overlooked the part about paying for sex too? Maybe you should reread the article.

"it's hard to trust a hooker trying to extort money" Who is she extorting money from? She was willingly paid by McGee?

Its also been testified there was sex for money...not just dancing. AND it did happen...thats been established.

AND NO...it does not happen everywhere.

The society issue....prostitutes have been around for Centuries....welcome to the World dude.

Waiting for all the facts to come out? LMAO, typical delusional UL sheep. How many more facts need to come out for you to believe this happened? You need a narrated video with timestamps?

UL is going down and will suck for the next 10 years. Couldn't happen to a more deserving program and fanbase. You guys are the bottom feeding scum suckers of the water tank that is NCAA athletics.

Considering the way UL has stuck its nose up at the NCAA with Clint Hurtt and hiring Petrino, I hope they bring the hammer down on your sick little program.

I am sorry but the OTL story dropped the ball on this article. They didn't show the journal entries nor did they show HOW the "confirmed" the wire and the communications between McGee and Powell. It sounds like a lot of hearsay at this point. Like I said, I think we all need to wait for the facts to come out. At that point we can have a better discussion. To me, the OTL dropped the ball and didn't reveal much except a bunch of lies from a hooker. Sorry, I don't trust hookers. When they link her to McGee, let me know and we can start talking. Until then, I am waiting for the facts.

Petjurino is the trollingest troll to ever troll, and you guys keep feeding him. He doesn't believe the stuff he posts, but he puts it there anyways because he gets 6 or 7 replies of fired up UK fans. He knows what happened, he knows the proof has been laid out for everyone to see, and he knows that there is far more evidence proving what happened than there is speculation of what didn't happen. If you're buying his "lets wait for the proof" spill you are falling into his trap. There have been criminals put away on long sentences with less proof than this.

Speak for yourself. Thus far we have a hooker saying stuff happened (sorry hard to believe this lady) and we have Rick telling everyone that he has checked with more than 15 people that would be in the know and no one has any idea about this. Sounds to me like she justs wants a payday and will do anything to get it. So no, we don't know what happened and should wait for the facts to come out. That's what I am doing.

Like I said, the bigger issue is how we got here as a society. This isn't a UofL problem, this is a society problem and we need to be focusing on that instead of railing on someone who had no knowledge of anything going on.

I still don't think you actually believe what you are posting here, but the fact of the matter is that we don't have to trust the word of a hooker anymore. At first we did, but now we don't. We have the statements of former players, former recruits, ESPN journalists who independently confirmed the texts/money transfer, and former investigators who have also confirmed the allegations. The facts are out. They are laid on the table right in front of you. Whether you choose to see them is up to you, but I think you see them just fine. You are just attempting to be a contrarian.

It's not a society issue, and it is, IN FACT, a UofL problem... I've never slept with a hooker. Have you? I'd venture to say most of society has not. This is an isolated incident that is 100% a UofL problem. The fact of the matter is you have a basketball coach who has prior sex-related scandals at a university known for having coaches with sex related scandals, and now the program as a whole is wrapped up in a sex-related scandal. Yet nobody knows a thing about it? If you say so.... If you say so.

Look, I really don't care what you guys think of me. I am not the only one who believes and says the things I am saying. Unlike many on here who just want to condemn Rick, the University, and even Tom, I have listened to all sources. I have heard the opposing side of things, the ESPN story, etc. But I also listen to well respected guys like Bob Valvano, John Ramsey, MIke Rutherford, Rick and Tom themselves, Billy Reed, Drew Deener and the overwhelming thing I am hearing is that we need to wait for the facts. The facts are not out despite what you guys say. Listen and read to all of them and then come back and give me some opinions. Sorry, but I am waiting for facts. I do think this poses the quesiton of a world wide issue and that needs to be addressed as opposed to looking solely at the University of UofL as the lone wolf in this. Like I said, most of this stuff probably didn't even happen. She's a woman who likely got burned by her man and now she's trying to make him pay. UofL just happens to be caught in the middle. Like I said, I'll wait for the facts.

The only relevant facts that I think are still to be determined are whether or not Rick knew about it. Personally I don't think he did even though I have a hard time seeing a scenario where he doesn't at least hear about it over the course of 4 years. Regardless, until I hear otherwise I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he didn't know. That raises the question of why didn't he know, but that's a different discussion. Under the assumption that he didn't know, I think it's fine for him to remain the coach at UL. If we find out he did know, especially after all these times claiming that he didn't, then he has to go IMO.

The rest of the allegations have been proven true. There are remaining facts that could affect the severity of the situation, but at this point we know there were dances, sex, and money exchanges. That has all been proven. There are facts yet to be heard about who was involved, ages, etc, but I don't think anyone can now say that the accusations made by Powell toward UL are false. She claimed that she and her girls danced and had sex with UL players/recruits for money. It has now been proven that she wasn't lying about that.

It doesn't much matter whether Rick knew.
Knowing is more egregious than not, but not knowing is awfully, awfully bad as well.

Personally, I believe he knew. To think otherwise suggests he didn't care.

Why do refer to "rick" and "tom"? Do they happen to stop in for dinner on occasion? Most others you reference, you use full names.
Let us all get this straight.
So you think this is a conspiracy against UL?
You think the players and recruits that have cooperated are lying?
But, you think players like T-Elvis are not lying?
You think the walmart money order receipt shown on OTL was fake?
and all the pictures of the women inside the dorm are photoshoped?
and even if they (admitted prostitutes and strippers) were there, there is no way, they were going full naked or getting paid to be there?
You also believe that nothing happened at UL, but UK must be cheating to get all of those five star players?

What kind of a parent/guardian would let their son go to UL after this? Would you? I mean even if we didn't hate UL, after this scandal would you let your son even go around that crime ridden place?
