Devin White was definitely the MVP of that game, but seems that MVP only goes to QB's now.

Brady was good, but White was a machine out there.

White might of been the best player during the game but there's no chance the Bucs win the SB without signing Brady. That's why he was awarded it.

True, 9 of the 55 MVPs have gone to defensive players, so its not quite as rare as I thought. The 2 you mentioned were only 2 defensive players in the last 18 years to get it though.

Guys, Brady is the GOAT ... period. He is what made “The Patriot Way”. The dude brings a level of accountability that no other place can obtain. MVP awards are a joke but that dude should win every damn one in a year like this. No coach, no player, no franchise had ever appeared in ten or won 7 Super Bowls. None but Brady. It’s not just about on his the field play but his... presenc3? He would lead us all to win what the freak ever he chooses.

None of that matters. It is an award for the best player of that game, which was clearly Devin White.
