No line out yet. I say the cats will be a 4.5 point favorite. I'll take them to cover. Any predictions?

Sagarin has us favored by about 5.5 if I am understanding it right. You have to think that the suspension of Bragg and the issues with the rape will affect that some. Maybe go up to 6 or 7.

Wonder why it's only at -5 when Wva was favored by 6.
I saw where KU had a 78% chance at a loss in Morgantown but only a 75% chance of a loss in Lexington.
There is no way Wva has a better home court advantage than UK has, especially with college gameday in town and 23k in the arena. Add in the issue with Bragg and the rape case.
Wva>UK? I don't think so.

Looking at Sagarin right now. With home court, he has us at 98.88, KU at 91.78. Implying a spread of 7.1 - so 7 points. Don't know how the news about Bragg will impact it though.

I don't know their home court advantage is pretty good, the other issues are well taken I expect that spread to go up over the next day maybe to 6.5

Might not be better but KU can't win there.

Probably because West Virginia beat them 3 straight times at home (make it 4 now). I'm guessing that played a part in it. If we didn't lose to UT, maybe ours would be bigger than it is. With both teams losing, they probably expect both teams to rebound and play well. I just don't know if they did anything to the point spread for the Bragg suspension and the rape situation affecting the team. I imagine the spread will go up as people start betting Kentucky like crazy now. Vegas has to even it out.

well FWIW alot of systems have UK and WVU rated extremely close so a 1 point difference I can see. I would have thought it be one pt the other way but it is what it is

UK is going through a little dip in performance right now, but at home and given all the Kansas adversity I think UK is likely to cover that spread. If Briscoe returns to form, and Gabriel and Willis limit Jackson's offensive rebounding and scoring to something reasonable, then I like UK's chances to perhaps win rather handily. Of course, I have to allow for the fact that might just be wishful thinking.

If UK returns to some semblance of the form they had prior to the past 5 games they could beat KU by double digits. If they play like they have in recent games(save South Carolina) the 6 man rotation that KU has is more than enough to beat UK

My guess is that we play well and get the attention of the basketball world with a bigger than expected win.
