Crazy to think this was the team ranked preseason #1- of course, people assumed Langford would have been back...
Yeah but they are rebounding the defensive glass. Something we failed miserably to do.
Easier to rebound when your five guys are packed in like LSU is. Wade kicking Pearl’s a** at the moment. I don’t like either cheating coach. Brilliant defensive game plan by Wade so far. Not gambling for steals. Just packing it in.

If Cleveland State was every good again they would technically be my #2 but I really don't "rank CSU" within my list because what is the point. They are my home town team (I live 45 miles from Cleveland). CSU was great in 1986 and 2009 and had a few other good seasons around those years. In 1986 I did root for CSU over Ohio State in the regular season.
I rooted for Kentucky against Ohio State this year.
You still gotta fight and give effort to box out and get the board. Ball just doesn’t come to you cuz you are packed in if UK had would’ve fought for position and gave max effort then we win last week.
But yes Wade is out coaching Pearl at the moment by packing it in and AUB is literally jacking 3s.
Auburn will come back. They may not win, but in the end they will have a shot. I never knew Purifoy was out. I thought Auburn would win easy. But that is a key loss for Auburn with him being out.
Oklahoma is dogsh*t- much worse than their record dicktates. The big 12 is god awful other than Baylor.
Really hope Seton Hall can pull it out against Villanova. Villanova already lost this week so if they beat Seton Hall, they probably won't drop much for the the Butler loss.

How in the hell is #13 WV a 2 seed? How does that math work out? Especially while they are getting *** pounded by OK by15.
Three straight losses for Michigan State. They’re now 8-5 in the Big 10 and 3-4 in road games, 10-2 at home. They lost to Purdue by 29 points.
UK is 8-2 in the SEC and 4-2 in road games, 11-1 at home. Worst loss was at Auburn by 9.
Somebody needs to explain to me again why MSU should be ranked ahead of UK.

I was just watching this game. Florida looks terrible. They won't play that way against UK, of course, but they looked like hot garbage today. I was not impressed with Blackshear at all. He is more a finesse player than anything.
Watching Arkansas at Missouri- Tigers foul A LOT. That seems to be their entire strategy. It's working so far. Arkansas is not the same team away from Bud Walton. And they are missing Chicken Joe big time.
And some posters thought everything was great in part because we rallied 22 points to beat a bad UGA team on our home court. Siiigh

I'm definitely not counting the Gators out just yet. I think they could run off 7-8 games and get into the tournament. They just seemed to have had a hard time getting going. I do think they'll be a tough matchup in the SEC tournament for any team.
Really would prefer to not play either of these two in the tournament. We can beat them, for sure. But Nova is well coached and has room to grow.. while SH wont be scared of us, and some of their losses came due to injured to their best players..could easily see either of these teams in the Final4.
Imo, and others, he will get at least one more year. As disappointing as this session has been thus far, I dont joy in anyone losing their job.
So if UF does indeed up in a clunker of a season.....I would give him one more year unless a noticeable improvement is seen.
I believe it all starts with Nembhart for them and he just hasn't made the leap that people thought he would this year. He still has time, but they might just be a year away.
The Big East is hands down the best conference in the country. St John’s, the 2nd worst team, beat West Virginia while DePaul, the worst BE team, beat the Tex Tech Flophouse, who in all reality should be a NIT team but is the 4th best in the Big 12.
