Only info I saw.....

Good - QB's are both competing really hard and looking pretty solid.

Bad - Moor Drops by the WR's (don't know how many, just that there were plural)

This 💩has GOT to stop!! U are on a SEC team so...u should be able to AT LEAST catch routine balls...! Good grief this gets old every year!

At least we have 1 SEC-caliber WR this year in Zuber. So that's an improvement over last year. I predict early playing time for these recruits Moorhead is bringing in at that position.

Tidbits** Top 20 Defense, Steven's more accurate gives him the edge but

KT really played well. Zuber looks very good as does Payton at WR, the WR coach appears to be doing a great job. OL may be the best we have had
since Jackie's dominant lines, massive and talented. Shrader's throwing motion has got to be fixed. Pickering has to get in shape.

When JoMo was hired he said he wanted to throw a lot of 50/50 balls, but last season it was more like 20/80 balls.***

Our opinion of KT would probably be higher if he had redshirted his freshman year like he should have. A redshirt sophomore KT would be a cause for optimism.

Agreed. I hope he redshirts this year. Come back next year and will probably be a different QB.

He better not sleep on Jalen Mayden though. Shrader better watch out for him too.

That's disappointing. When did he get on campus?

He's a freshman. Fletcher Cox and Jeffrey Simmons didn't even come in guns a blazing at the beginning of their freshman year.

If he has to start, then we are likely looking at a 2009 or 2016 type season, i.e. 5-7, like when those two above ended up starting.

i was wondering about Mayden. I was very impressed with what i saw about him out of high school. he was a very good passer, but I have heard much about him this spring or fall. seemed like they had him below Shrader in rotation. obviously Shrader is Moorheads up and coming guy, but Mayden was very talented and not just as a runner.

OR last year. He didn't play meaningful snaps in more than 4 games last year. But we wasted him in mop-up duty too much to redshirt him.

I don't think anybody is expecting him to start, or even necessarily be in the two deep, but it's one less option we have if he's not in shape.

He needs to shed a few lbs but he isn't so out of shape he can't play & help this year. He still made a few plays Saturday including a sack.
