Two games for Bama sum it up - they are, have been and always be under Oats a live-by-the-three / die-by-the-three team. They lived by it Thursday and are dying by it tonight.

Duke's defense is also been phenomenal all night long. They've had an incredibly small number of quality, open shots and when they do get them they're not in rhythm at all because of all the other forced shots.

Every now and then they’ll call one if the defender really sells it, but you see game after game of guys just bulldozing their way to the basket with the off arm. Half the time, they seem to get free throws out of it if anything.

Everyone saying Bama has gone cold and is playing poorly on offense, but Duke is forcing them to do that. Duke's defense has been incredible tonight. Bama has had no clue what to do on offense for the vast majority of the game.

auburn is the better matchup imo. they have the front court to keep dook honest on the perimeter. houston is more athletic and quick, but look what quickness did vs duke’s size. nothing. the same thing happened to bama vs uconn a couple years ago.

Everyone here always likes to discount Kenpom ratings, but they are often incredibly accurate compared to performance on the court. The 8 top Kenpom teams pre-tournament were the 8 that made the Elite 8.
