Our Net is 100 after last night win. Vandy is 181 and Kentucky is 133. Cannot afford another sub 100 net ranking loss. Clemson is 15 Liberty is 71 and Dayton is 126.

You'd think Missouri would suffer a good bit from the loss last night. And Kentucky seems to be profiting from just being Kentucky.

Kentucky won't be a sub 100 loss at the end of the year. Good chance it's not even a sub 50 loss.

Not really worried about the metrics this early given that half the SEC hasn’t played 10 total games yet. South Carolina only played their fifth game of the year tonight, beat A&M to improve to 3-2 OVERALL. That’s nuts.

I do agree that the Vandy game is must win though. They were picked to finish last in the league and we simply have the better roster. Sustaining momentum has been Howland’s biggest issue through 5 plus years, and a loss here would be a return to the two steps forward, two steps backward we are accustomed to.

That game needs to be a W for us for a lot of reasons.

Yep, and we all know that this is right about the time for a patented Howland deflating loss to make an appearance. Not trying to be an ***, but it’s just what we’ve seen over and over again for 6 years

That said, as I mentioned in a thread the other day, this squad has a fire about them that I’ve yet to see in a Howland team. I don’t know what it will translate into this season, but I like the future

Definite must win. That Kentucky game would have been HUGE in the end. It is a true shame that we werent able to pull that off.
