Just watched him break a 50 or so on a short pass. I never thought he was fast but he has an amazingly long stride.So upon further review 10 years later I guess he is fast..SorryMo..

Like Ray Rice, Mo has gotten more "football fast" as he's trained in the NFL and at the various elite facilities. faster than the old days even.

Sanu was always fast. He was sick on his NFL combine day and ran a poor 40 dash time. He always looked fast before that day and he looked fast after it. Recall Devin McCourty's 40 time got screwed-up too.

Beat me to it! Living here around these crazies is priceless. Always think they are the best team in the world yet zero Super Bowls. On sports radio shows the Eagles are 24/7, 365. The other 3 major sports are just side shows. It' a strange crowd fo sure.

My wife worked at SBHS when he was their and whenever they had sports jerseys day she would wear my Brian Leonard jersey and once he committed to RU he would always make a point to chat with her. My daughter was also a freshman on the track team when he was a senior. He was a really good triple jumper along with everything else.

Probably one of the best all around athletes and football players we have had at Rutgers. Would have been successful at whatever position he played including QB beyond the wildcat. He and the Falcons were impressive last night.
He says it as if he doesn’t realize that Eagles’ history shows us that “before” means choking in the championship game, even if you are at home against an inferior team.
Mo's stride length has always been impressive. Only maybe Deering could match or exceed. A joy to watch those guys with room to run.

And sometimes folks get hung up on raw speed. Shiftiness and elusiveness count for something.
In that catch I posted above, he caught it at the 34, and ran it down to the 10 before their defender caught up with him.
Go back and watch the Tim Brown UConn TD. The RU player gaining on him is Sanu
I had Sanu on my fantasy team. He has been playing injured the last month. That’s why he looks slow.
I was being sarcastic. He looked fine to me. Keep in mind that he was running with a football in his hand, and the two defenders were running free, and it took their running nearly half the field to catch him.
I'm not sure I used "sarastic" correctly. Perhaps someone can confirm.
I figured you were. I just thought he actually did look a little slow there. Mo is usually quicker than that.
He was getting boxed out by the angles the two defenders were taking. Did not realize he was injured. Proud of him. He seems to get better each year.
What a night. I was out of college already but was in NB randomly. Remember seeing this in the bar and the city erupted. Good times.
Later on in an interview, he said its one of the things he was ever embarrassed about in a Rutgers game.
I think Tiquan Underwood might be the strider king. He ran a 4.41 at the combine so he could really run. He never looked fast because he had such a long stride. He looked laid back running but he ate up yardage with every stride. NFL site mentioned he wasn't an explosive change direction runner runner. Only on kick returns did I realize how fast he was. Of he got just a few strides in he had a nice return lol
Sanu also had to slow down on that play in order to get behind and to the other side of Tim...trying to make a play against the defender.
Here's the bottom line..if you guys are one and done in the playoffs, you get a low draft pick, waste a prime year to win it while you still have this squad, and you get to worry about how Wentz will be in his recovery. The Giants get a massive asset in the Rosen/darnold to pick or trade for a random and we got rid of McAdoo. We might turn out to have the better season as far as effects on the franchise.
This is one of the craziest spin jobs I've ever heard. Seriously, the Giants are better off with a QB who's currently in college (and who scouts are saying aren't slam dunks) than the Eagles are with Wentz after 8 or 9 months of recovery? The Eagles are in a great position to be good for a while, as are the Cowboys. The Giants...not so much.
