When the state flag has the confederate flag on it... people from other states are going to have an opinion. You an also have an opinion about other states too, it's a pretty crazy thing.

Well I haven't been here for 150 years(or my father's whole family for that matter) and I voted against the flag last time and would again but I don't like being threatened by him. So it ain't exactly all the "same" people. What some of you need to realize is we're very close to making this happen and what Sankey did was the LAST thing we need right now. If you can't comprehend that then you're no smarter than those "same" people you're talking about.

We hosted the softball tournament a few years ago, whenever the stadium was new. 12 teams qualified, but we weren't one of them.

ETA: That was 2016. We hosted track and field championships in 2015. We & Ole Miss hosted the tennis championships in 2012 and 2013, each doing 1 one year and the other the next.

We hosted cross country in 2008 and Ole Miss did in 2009. It looks like those are on a rotation, so both of ours would be coming up in the next couple years.

Take it down. The flag is ****. “But, but... muh heritage!” The people who want to keep the flag are just as silly as the idiots who want to cancel Paw Patrol. Common sense will eventually prevail in this country.

There's really no room for an "opinion" on the confederate flag. It's a racist symbol and is unacceptable for current use. Those are just facts.
