That was so friggin' awesome, especially from our new seats this season, 3 rows up from the floor at the RU foul line on that side of the court, so we got a really great view of that dunk.

Didn’t Corey have a highlight reel dunk at Iowa last year? Probably why the guy moved away when he saw Corey going up for the dunk lol. Didn’t want to be on sportscenter tonight.

No, he had the AWESOME highlight at I believe Iowa where he came down the middle of the lane in a very similar fashion, cocked it back for a dunk but was a little far from thw rim, and adjusted to a layup in midair. Was very pretty. Almost like the old "If I could be like Mike" commercial when MJ did that same thing in an NBA game.

It wasn't a dunk last year. You can argue it was better than a dunk. He flew through the lane, switching hands for a layup. It was a thing of beauty.

Who do think was the last RU player that could jump like that? Hollis Copeland?

Yeah, that was it. I remember even the Iowa bench reacting to it because of how nice it was.

Corey's long lost brother, also from Florida, last name Sanders, first name Sam.[/QUOTE

Actually ...Sam had the greatest dunk in the history of ru literally right in front of me

In the February 1998 win over 20-4 Syracuse...he took off, on a breakaway, literally a foot inside the foul line for the dunk ...

That one was a dunk contest dunk in a game

Thought of pickiell’s comment at last court club that Corey loves hearing crowd chant his name

On BTN's "The B1G Show" last night, they played that dunk over and over, like 4 or 5 times. It was awesome.

Looked like Corey was expecting that Iowa big to challenge him, so he went up ferociously, and the defender wisely got out of the way, lol.

People seem to forget John Battle had some serious “ups” as well as did Steve Wortfy. I’ll never forget the one alley-oop he had, at Jadwyn gym, where his hand was above the backboard to bring the ball down. Completely insane!
